Stardew Valley: Best Things To Do In Summer
When summer rolls around in Stardew Valley, farmers should make sure to do certain things to make the most of the season.
How To Get Advanced Iridium Rod in Stardew Valley
To get the Advanced Iridium Rod in Stardew Valley, you must first achieve Fishing Mastery. This requires you to max out all five skills in the game, namely Farming, Fishing, Foraging, Mining, and Combat.
Once you've achieved level 10 in each skill, you'll unlock the Mastery system in Stardew Valley. Every action that would normally grant skill experience points will now contribute to your Mastery experience bar. After maxing out the Fishing Mastery, you’ll be rewarded with the following:
- Advanced Iridium Rod
- Challenge Bait recipe
- The ability to find Golden Fishing Treasure Chests.
To claim the Advanced Iridium Rod, interact with the Fishing Mastery plaque in the Mastery Cave. After obtaining the rod from the Mastery Cave, you can also purchase additional Advanced Iridium Rods from the Fish Shop for 25,000 gold.
How To Use Advanced Iridium Rod in Stardew Valley
The Advanced Iridium Rod is currently the best fishing tool in Stardew Valley. Unlike previous rod tiers, the Advanced Iridium Rod lets you equip bait and up to two tackles at once. This significantly increases your chances of catching fish.
When you equip two tackles on the Advanced Iridium Rod, their effects stack, meaning they combine to provide a more powerful boost to your fishing. For example, using two Cork Bobbers will double the size of the fishing bar compared to using just one. This makes it easier to land fish and increases your chances of catching rare or valuable species.
However, there are a few exceptions to this rule. For instance, using two Sonar Bobbers doesn't stack. The Sonar Bobber's primary function is to identify the type of fish you've hooked, and equipping two of them doesn't provide any additional benefit.
In general, though, equipping two compatible tackles on the Advanced Iridium Rod is a great way to enhance your fishing experience in Stardew Valley and catch more fish. The more fish you catch and sell, the more money you can make.
