Even though it’s mainly a farming simulation, Stardew Valley has its fair share of combat. Whether you’re exploring the depths of the Mines or venturing deep within the Skull Cavern, you’ll come across a variety of creatures that will test your combat skills. To take down these monsters and level up your combat skills, you’ll need to equip yourself with the best weapons in Stardew Valley.
You can get most of your weapons from the Adventurer’s Guild or find them as loot in the dungeons. Interestingly, most villagers have their own special weapons they use in combat. While these weapons were previously unobtainable, Stardew Valley’s Update 1.6 lets you get your hand on these exclusive Villager Weapons. Here’s how.

How to Get Villager Weapons in Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley’s Update 1.6 introduced a brand-new event, called The Desert Festival, which takes place in The Desert from Spring 15 to 17, every year . At the festival, two random villagers set up their shops each day and sell limited-time items.
Villager shops are open from 12 pm to 12 am and are stocked with different items. Some villagers offer a glimpse into their lives and sell their own unique weapons in exchange for Calico Eggs.
Calico Eggs are a unique currency that are exclusive to the Desert Festival. You can earn them through several challenges and attractions at the festival.
If you have enough Calico Eggs, you can walk up to a villager's shop and purchase their unique Villager Weapon. Not all villagers in Stardew Valley sell weapons, so check out the list below to find the ones who do, and what their weapon is.
