Stardew Valley comes with an exciting multiplayer mode, where players can invite up to eight friends to join their world and experience farm life together. Each player controls their own character, has their own energy bar, skills, inventory, relationships with NPCs, and even individual quests.
While sharing a farm with friends can be very rewarding, it can naturally lead to deeper in-game relationships between the players themselves. Just as villagers in Stardew Valley form romantic bonds with the farmer, players in multiplayer have the option to take their companionship to the next level by getting married to each other. All players need to marry each other is a Wedding Ring.
The Best Gifts for Abigail in Stardew Valley
Here's a detailed insight into what Stardew Valley’s daring beauty Abigail likes.
How To Get A Wedding Ring in Stardew Valley
Contrary to real life, you can’t just go up to a shop to purchase a
Wedding Ring in Stardew Valley. Instead, you need to make it from scratch by following a simple crafting recipe.
The recipe for the Wedding Ring can only be purchased from the Traveling Cart in Stardew Valley. This cart pops up in the Cindersap Forest on Fridays and Sundays. The recipe for the Wedding Ring costs 500 gold.
Once you have the recipe, you need the following materials to craft the Wedding Ring:
- 5 Iridium Bars
-
1
Prismatic Shard
If you are playing in single-player mode, you cannot obtain the Wedding Ring recipe or craft the item through normal gameplay.
How To Use The Wedding Ring in Stardew Valley
The Wedding Ring is exclusively used for marrying another player in a multiplayer game. You cannot use it to marry an NPC villager.
To propose to another player, select the Wedding Ring in your inventory and interact with the player you want to marry. They will have the option to accept or refuse. If accepted, the wedding ceremony will take place in 3 in-game days. The Wedding Ring is not reusable.
Although the Wedding Ring can be equipped in an accessory slot like other rings in Stardew Valley, it provides no additional bonuses to the player. Similar to other rings, it can be sold for gold at the Adventurer's Guild. Wedding Rings cannot be given as gifts to any of the NPC villagers in the Valley.
To marry an NPC in a single player, you need to use the
Mermaid's Pendant, which is purchased from the Old Mariner on the beach on a rainy day for 5,000 gold after reaching 10 hearts with a marriageable villager and upgrading your house at least once.
