A Stardew Valley player spent a stunning 10 in-game years on their farm, never heading into town and exploring everything Pelican Town has to offer them. The impressive effort has surprised fellow Stardew Valley players, especially considering the limitations this put on their character.
Stardew Valley is considered a farming sim at its core, but the open nature of the game means that players can do whatever they like once they get settled in. While a player's can be self-sufficient doing nothing but farming, most players will at least visit Pelican Town for supplies, but this fan challenged themselves to stick solely to the farm.
Stardew Valley: How to Build Junimo Huts
Junimo Huts can be a game changer in Stardew Valley, so here's how you can build them and everything they can do on your farm.
Stardew Valley player Ok-Aspect-9070 shared a large screenshot of their Four Corners farm, which they haven't left in 10 in-game years. The player initially wanted to see how much money they could make without ever leaving, and ended up spending time carefully crafting the corners of their farm. The image reveals an extremely organized farm, with each section seemingly accomplishing different goals. The player's front yard is growing
Hot Pepper crops, while the upper left is dedicated to trees and mushrooms, the lower left to producing honey, and the bottom right has more space for crops and plenty of Preserves Jars. In all, the player says that they've earned over 10 million gold and reached farming and foraging level 10, mining level 9, and combat to level 2.
Stardew Valley Player's Strategy Paid Off
Ok-Aspect-9070's challenge chose the Four Corners farm with a goal in mind. The Four Corners farm gives players access to a small quarry for mining and has unique weeds that drop
Mixed Seeds. Through careful grinding, the player was able to collect and plant enough seeds to reach Farming level 9, at which point they could get a Seed Maker and gain the chance to get
Ancient Seeds. In all, this effort has taken them about 35 real-world hours, which has impressed fellow fans at their dedication to the goal.
Other Stardew Valley fans have expressed their praise for this player's achievements. Accomplishing this much without even being able to clear the Stardew Valley meteors, large boulders, and large logs, as well as being stuck with the slower and more energy-consuming tools has particularly impressed. Some have expressed interest in trying it themselves, to which the playerbase has proposed a challenge name of Introvert%. As reaching 10 million gold was Ok-Aspect-9070's original goal, it seems like a good goalpost for any other player attempting this challenge.
