Alternatively, some players prefer to complete the Joja Warehouse and then purchase the item there for 50,000 Gold.

Now, a Stardew Valley player called josefugly shared a picture of their latest triumph in the game: naturally finding the Auto-Petter in the Skull Caverns. According to the gamer, this feat took over 1,500 hours, showing how difficult it is to get this rare item. Gamers in the comments were amazed at josefugly’s feat, giving them over 5,100 upvotes. Some of them explained that due to the low chances of the item appearing in the Skull Caverns, it was a good idea to use items such as Lucky Rings and luck-improving food before visiting the caves. Other players, however, deemed it was better to simply purchase the item from Joja Warehouse instead, due to how much time needs to be spent to acquire this rare Stardew Valley item with no guarantees that it will appear.

Gamer Finds Auto Petter In Stardew Valley After 1,500 Hours

This is not the only recent story shared with the community of a gamer finding a lucky drop in the popular farming sim. A few weeks ago, for example, a Stardew Valley player received two Prismatic Shards in the mines. At the time, the gamer was killing Cave Larvae and was completely surprised to see such good loot appearing while they explored.

Due to how many secrets and mechanics there are in Stardew Valley, it’s also common for gamers to take a long time to uncover some details about the game. Last month, one gamer took 250 hours to discover they stack items in chests. By using the “add to stack” button, it’s possible to organize items in chests in the farming sim, transferring all the items from their inventory. However, this gamer took quite an unusual amount of time to discover this useful trick.
