Star Wars: The Force Unleashed eventually requires players to revisit the planet Felucia, now under Imperial control. During this visit, players are required to free the Sarlacc which the Empire has restrained, and this guide will explain the process of releasing it.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an action-adventure game set prior to the events of Star Wars: Episode 4 - A New Hope. Players take on the role of "Starkiller," secret apprentice of Darth Vader who is tasked with hunting down surviving Jedi across the galaxy. Along the way, players discover the origins of the Rebel Alliance and visit a number of famous locations throughout the Star Wars universe.
The Sarlacc Pit
After journeying through a sizable chunk of the level, players will find themselves again faced with the Sarlacc pit, now surrounded by many imperial structures and Stormtroopers. Freeing the Sarlacc will require players to travel all the way around the pit and activate three stabilizer generators atop the Imperial structures, while also severing the chains holding the Sarlacc's tentacles.
These generators are activated by using force lightning to charge them, while a well-aimed lightsaber throw will sever the chains.
The First Generator And The First Chain
The first generator can be found by simply scaling the Imperial structure to the right of where Starkiller enters the area, guarded by several stormtroopers on gun turrets.
These troopers should pose no issue for Starkiller, especially at this stage of the game. Their proximity to the edge means players could use force push to hurl them off the structure.
After activating the generator, players should head to the balcony opposite to look out at the Sarlacc, where the first chain can be seen. Players need only lock onto the chain and perform a saber throw to sever it.
If the saber collides with something on the way to the chain, try jumping before performing the throw to provide a clearer path.
The Second Generator And The Second Chain
To reach the second tower players will need to head back down to the ground on the same side they approached the first structure from, and then head toward the bridge leading to a tower.
This bridge is guarded by a few stormtroopers Starkiller can handle with ease, and upon reaching the tower itself players should head down the path on the right and follow that bridge. On the left at the end of the bridge is another Imperial structure with a generator to charge and a vantage point to hit another chain.
Players need only scale the structure and repeat the process from the last time to free another tentacle and charge another generator.
The Third Generator And The Third Chain
To reach the final chain players should first head back to the bridge they came from, head into the imperial tower, and then turn left and follow the last bridge. The Imperial structure holding the last generator and a vantage point for reaching the final chain is located just to the left at the end of that bridge.
Players should scale the tower, eliminate the Storm Troopers, and hurl their lightsaber at the last chain to finally release the Sarlacc and earn a Force Talent Sphere.
