The development team behind Star Wars Outlaws has released a roadmap detailing when players can expect to see certain improvements added to the action-adventure game through November 2024. While this roadmap includes the highly anticipated first story pack for Star Wars Outlaws, there are plenty of other upgrades on the way as well.

Featuring an original story set in the Star Wars universe, the game launched on August 30 to generally favorable reviews from critics but a milder reception from players. Less than a month into its run, developers have announced that big updates to Star Wars Outlaws are on the way, and with the reveal of this roadmap, fans now have a better idea of when they'll see these changes implemented.

As revealed on the game's official Twitter account, two smaller sets of improvements will be coming to the game in October, while a much more significant upgrade is planned to be released on November 21. The first update is set for October 3 and will focus on bug fixes, while a second update on October 24 will add some quality-of-life improvements to the game. Neither Ubisoft nor Massive Entertainment have given details regarding the specific bugs and features that will be addressed by these two updates, but the game wasn't without technical flaws at launch, and early updates have already fixed problems like a bug that made players delete their Star Wars Outlaws save data to progress the story.

Big Star Wars Outlaws Update Coming on November 21

While the two October updates aim to provide a better gameplay experience for players, many fans will look forward to November 21, when the Star Wars Outlaws' paid Wild Card expansion and free DLC update will be implemented. As noted in previous reports, the Wild Card expansion will see Kay Vess infiltrating a high-stakes Sabbac tournament and crossing paths with fellow Star Wars scoundrel Lando Calrissian. While Lando is already a character players can interact with in the base game, the expansion will provide players with more chances to see the popular Star Wars character in action.

The fun on November 21 won't be limited to premium customers, however, as the developers plan to launch a free update on the same day to provide all players with more contracts and improvements to both the combat and stealth systems present in the game. While the title features several gameplay styles, from cover-based blaster fights to racing on a speeder bike, the stealth approach in Star Wars Outlaws has frustrated fans, with its instant failure mechanic and lack of options for evading enemies noted as the main concerns.
