Like many modern action games, Star Wars Outlaws features a wide range of equipment and abilities that can be upgraded. Many of these upgrades require special crafting items that are often hidden in a single location. One of these items, Ironweave, is essential to unlocking Star Wars Outlaws' first major upgrade to Kay Vess' health. In this guide, we'll show you how to find Ironweave, and how to use it to ensure Kay makes it through her early battles.
Best Star Wars Games Ever, Ranked
On top of many successful movies, the Star Wars franchise has also seen a whole host of incredible games that have brought its universe to life.
How to Get Ironweave in Star Wars Outlaws
To get Ironweave in Star Wars Outlaws, you'll first have to reach the city of Mirogana, on the planet of Toshara. This is the first major location after Canto and the prologue, so you will not have to wait long. Once you have made it into the heart of the city, you will want to find a very specific merchant: Berek Keehro.
Berek is a tailor, and is also associated with a special side-quest. He is labeled as the Nix Treasure Trader on the map. If you've already entered the city, you can use Star Wars Outlaws' fast-travel mechanic to reach the area directly in front of Makal's Gambling Parlor.
When you find Berek, interact with the prompt to see his stock. The last item should be Ironweave. The baseline price for this material is 450 Credits. Berek carries only one unit of Ironweave in his stock.
Berek is associated with the Pyke syndicate, so his prices will be affected by your Reputation level with the Pyke. When we purchased Ironweave, we had a 'Poor' reputation with them, which is how Kay starts the game. Increasing or decreasing your status will lower or raise the cost accordingly.
How to Use Ironweave in Star Wars Outlaws
Increase Kay's Max Health
Ironweave is directly tied to the Armored Undershirt ability. This ability is part of Bram's group of Expert abilities, and the first upgrade to Kay's health. Kay needs one unit of Ironweave, and eight units of Coarseweave to unlock this ability. Coarseweave is one of the most common items you will find during your journey, so it should not be difficult to amass eight fairly quickly. Remember to scan your surroundings and send Nix after any items you can.
