The Star Wars Outlaws Hidden Riches quest has left many players confused. For starters, its location doesn’t appear on the map, and even when players manage to find it, there seems to be no clear way to complete the quest. Currently, the consensus is that the Hidden Riches intel chain is glitched. However, there has been no official confirmation from the developers of Star Wars Outlaws about this issue.

The Hidden Riches quest begins when you speak to Ta Hipan, a merchant located in the Myrra market district on the planet Akiva. She sells the intel for this quest for around 200 credits.

Unlike most other intel quests, the location for Hidden Riches won’t appear on your map. You’ll need to find the area of interest, Witch Finger, on your own.

How to Complete the Hidden Riches Intel

To complete the Hidden Riches intel, head to Witch’s Finger, a long, isolated butte located in the western part of Akiva. Once there, you’ll need to defeat two guards and follow a narrow path leading to the top.

Is the Hidden Riches Quest Bugged?

According to the quest description, the fortuneteller is likely referring to the monument above the Great Basin. However, there seems to be no way to climb the buttes in this area, leading players to believe the quest may be bugged. As of this writing, Ubisoft has not confirmed whether the Hidden Riches quest is indeed glitched.

You can make the jump on the last cliff, but it won’t help you progress the quest.

How Fix the Hidden Riches Bug

As of now, there is no guaranteed fix for the Hidden Riches intel bug. However, players have reported some workarounds that might help bypass the glitch:

  • Use Nix to retrieve the treasure: At the final platform on Witch’s Finger, instead of jumping to the last cliff, send Nix to collect the item for you.
  • Wander around the area: Moving around in the last area of the quest has helped some players resolve the bug.
  • Shoot the breakable boulder: There’s a boulder on the last cliff that you can shoot. Blasting it might trigger the next step of the quest.
  • Try saving and reloading: If possible, load a previous save and repeat the quest process to see if it resolves the issue.

As of now, Ubisoft has released Title Update 1.1.2. Unfortunately, the patch notes do not mention a fix for the Hidden Riches mission bug. However, the update did address an issue with The Veteran quest, where reporting to the droid would not update after reporting back to MT-7.

Just to be clear, we tried all these workarounds in our playthrough but were unable to resolve the issue. We will update this guide as soon as a fix for the Hidden Riches bug becomes available.
