False Flag is the first space mission in Star Wars Outlaws, where you get to take the Trailblazer for a spin. In this Danka-backed quest, your objective is to infiltrate an Imperial Fuel Station to steal valuable intel and a crucial component for your starship. While the mission’s premise isn’t daunting, the challenge lies in its demand for stealth: you must avoid raising the alarm.

Lalini Ledeno is a smuggler found in Mirogana that won't be friendly the first time meeting Kay in Star Wars Outlaws.
This emphasis on discretion has left some gamers scratching their heads about how to complete the False Flag quest, especially how to access the data vault while a stormtrooper stands guard. The following Star Wars Outlaws guide will walk you through the process with ease.

During the False Flag quest, your objective is to steal starship parts for the Trailblazer from an Imperial Fuel Station. To achieve this, you'll need to infiltrate the heavily guarded facility and reach the data vault. Along the way, you'll encounter a prisoner named Bonsok, who will assist you in exchange for his freedom. Thus, in addition to pilfering the ship components, you'll also need to escort Bonsok out of the Imperial Station to complete the False Flag mission.
Main Objectives of the False Flag Quest
- Recover the cargo of Sansanna.
- Find the data vault.
- Escort Bonsok off Station.
- Reach the Trailblazer and escape.
Here’s how to complete each step.
Recover the Cargo of Sansanna
After entering Toshara’s space, head towards the marked cargo ship. Destroy its cargo to detach the containers, then steal them. Defend yourself against any raiders that attack, and proceed to the Imperial Fuel Station.
Find the Data Vault
Inside the Imperial Fuel Station, eliminate the initial guards and find the sled in front of the main entrance (it’s a hovering board with boxes). Activate the sled, use it as cover, and follow it until you reach the data vault.
Next, locate a terminal with information on the vault. Use the vent to enter the adjacent room, then stand on the elevating platform to reach the top floor. Defeat the operators and unlock the command center’s door.
Proceed along the path to a locked door. Open it with the Data Spike and eliminate the guards inside. In the next area, have Nix detonate the explosives and clear out all stormtroopers. Finally, activate the moving panels and use them for cover to reach the other side, where you can slice into a computer.
Escort Bonsok Off Station
Call the cargo elevator from the command center and descend using the ladder, where you’ll encounter Bonsok. He’ll be on a sled that you need to activate and use as cover to evade the guards. Eventually, you and Bonsok will part ways, and you’ll need to search for him by navigating the vents.
Be prepared to fight off a group of stormtroopers trying to take Bonsok’s sled. Keep an eye out for any soldiers attempting to trigger the alarm, as this will jeopardize the mission. If Bonsok’s sled gets stuck, shoot the nearby energy core to free it.
Reach the Trailblazer
Finally, eliminate the last batch of stormtroopers and escort Bonsok’s sled into the Trailblazer to make your escape from the Imperial Fuel Station. Once outside, you may encounter enemy starships. Either engage them in combat or evade them to complete the mission.
