What makes this side quest particularly challenging is that there are no clues to guide you in locating the treasure chests. One of these chests is even hidden behind a secret wall that many players might overlook. You'll either need a lot of luck to find both chests on your first attempt or a detailed Star Wars Outlaws guide to show you exactly where to search.

To start the Lost Sandcrawler intel quest, visit the abandoned mine in Mos Algo. Squeeze through rocks in the mine’s entrance and shoot the boulders at the end of the cave to start the Lost Sandcrawler mission. (This is the same area where you and Ays were ambushed during the Defector quest.)

How to Find the First Lost Sandcrawler Treasure

Get into the abandoned mine in Mos Algo.
Shoot the boulder at the end of the cave to open the secret path.
Follow the parkour path until you go down the first two grappling hook spots.
Shoot the boulder on the right to access the first Lost Sandcrawler treasure.

You'll encounter a parkour path in the abandoned mine, with your objective being to reach the bottom. After passing the first two grappling hooks, you'll notice a boulder obstructing a narrow passage. Shoot it to clear the way and collect the first Lost Sandcrawler treasure.

There are several grappling hook spots in the mine, but the first treasure is located near the first pair of hooks. You'll encounter these right after entering the abandoned mine.

How to Find the Second Lost Sandcrawler Treasure

Go down the mine until you find an abandoned facility.
Shoot the electric receivers here to open the locked doors. (You will need to ask Nix pull the lever afterward.)
Blow up the cracked floor in the last room using your Blaster.
Go down and discover the abandoned Sandcrawler.
Look under the Sandcrawler to find the second lost treasure chest.

As you continue along the parkour path in the mine, you'll arrive at an abandoned facility with a locked door. The second treasure is located behind this door. To unlock it, look through the crack in the wall and shoot the receiver on the other side. Then, ask Nix to open the shutter in the adjacent room and shoot the receiver inside to unlock the second door. Afterward, use explosive shots to break through the cracked floor and jump down into the secret area.

The second Lost Sandcrawler treasure is located beneath the abandoned Sandcrawler. Sandcrawler is the tank-like vehicle you'll find in the secret area. Look under its turning rollers (wheels) to find the treasure chest.
