An incredibly popular game mode is coming to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at launch, and it will allow fans to share the sights of a galaxy far, far away with their friends. The pulse-pounding follow-up to 2019’s hit Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is finally being released this week. Players will once again take control of Cal Kestis, a former Jedi Padawan who survived the infamous Order 66 and eventually reignites his connection to the Force to take on the dreaded Empire and its powerful Inquisitors. All of Cal’s skills and abilities from Fallen Order will be available from the very beginning of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and players will be able to add several new tricks to the hero’s repertoire as he reunites with his friends and searches for a safe haven from the Empire. Not every revealed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor feature has excited fans though, as it was confirmed that the physical version of the game will still require a massive download and the PC version will include DRM in the form of the controversial Denuvo anti-cheat software.RELATED: Physical Copies of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor May Require Additional Download Thankfully, another new feature has just been confirmed for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that fans will surely appreciate more: Photo Mode. A recent post on the official EA Star Wars Twitter account confirmed that the ever-popular photography mode will be included in the game at launch, and the connected thread features several stunning screenshots taken by the development team at Respawn during their own Star Wars Jedi: Survivor playthroughs.

Photo Mode has become incredibly popular over the past few years, allowing players to create and share impressive images from their favorite games using a free-moving camera and various filters. Virtual photographers have even used Photo Modes in titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Red Dead Redemption 2 to pick out strange bugs and details, as well as recreate posters and covers from their favorite movies or video games.

Respawn added a Photo Mode to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order post-launch, and it proved enough of a hit to include in the upcoming Jedi: Survivor from day one. Part of the appeal of the Star Wars franchise comes from its beautiful alien worlds and iconic character designs, and now Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players will be able to capture these visuals when Cal Kestis continues his journey later this week.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is launching April 28 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
