An Overview of the Ninth Sister
- Former Name: Masana Tide
- Race: Dowutin
- Battle Phases: Three
- Best Weapon Against Her: Double-Bladed Stance
- Battle Duration: ~ 5 to 7 minutes
The Ninth Sister is the second story boss in Jedi: Survivor, encountered on Coruscant. Her fight unfolds in three phases, each making her progressively more aggressive. In phase one, she relies on melee attacks that can mostly be parried or dodged. In phase two, she begins reading your mind, allowing her to evade all your attacks. In phase three, she adds ground slams to her moveset, dealing AoE damage.
How to Defeat the Ninth Sister
To beat the Ninth Sister, parry her basic attacks until her Stamina Meter drains and strike her when she’s defenseless. As for her heavy attacks, use the pull Force on her or dodge to the sides when she glows red. Keep countering her abilities until the Dual Stance unlocks, and she gives up.

Follow these steps to defeat the Ninth Sister:
- Start the fight by parrying her attacks.
- Deflect her projectiles by pressing LB (L1 on PlayStation)
- Attack only when her guard breaks.
- Press LT (L2 on PlayStation) to interrupt her heavy attacks.
- Do not strike when she’s using her Empathic Force.
- Parry her strikes in the Empathic state, so she can’t predict Cal’s moves.
- Once the Dual Stance is unlocked, hold Y (Triangle on PlayStation) to beat her for good.
Note that the Ninth Sister boss fight has three phases. In the first phase, she only uses her double-bladed lightsaber. In the second one, she predicts every move of the player with her Empathic Force. And in the final phase, she combines lightsaber, Force, and heavy attacks. Every time the player drains one-third of her health, the new stage begins, and she attacks with stronger skills.
Tips for Killing the Ninth Sister Faster
- Unlock the Lunging Strike and Dash Strike for the Single Lightsaber Stance. With these abilities, Cal can perform long-reaching charged moves, which devastate the Sister/
- Do not attack her when she’s reading Cal’s mind. In her Empathic Force state, the Ninth Sister is untouchable. All Cal can do is parry her base strikes or dodge her charges until her ability wears off.
- Watch her moves closely because she’s slow. Unlike other Inquisitors, the Ninth Sister is a clumsy fighter. She often reveals her next move with her movement, helping the player predict and counter the attacks effectively.
