As of the most popular Jedi Masters in Star Wars, Mace Windu is the only Jedi brave enough to tell Anakin Skywalker to take a seat. This beloved Star Wars Jedi was at the height of his powers during the Clone Wars and was tragically killed by Darth Vader and Darth Sidious. However, that doesn’t mean his legacy is destroyed.

Players have found a way to bring the iconic Jedi’s lightsaber into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The game features an intricate system where players can build their lightsabers, and players have managed to create a near-perfect replica of the iconic purple lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Purple Kyber Crystal

The purple lightsaber came into popularity and existence thanks to Samuel L. Jackson. Mace Windu’s lightsaber design is iconic for its hilt, but more so for the purple Kyber Crystal that gives it the purple blade. Players can equip the Purple lightsaber Kyber Crystal from the workbench, and it is automatically unlocked as one of the many lightsaber colors in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Without the purple Kyber Crystal within the lightsaber of Cal Kestis, players will truly be missing out on what makes Mace Windu’s lightsaber so memorable. Silver and gold metals help the saber's appearance, but the purple hue certainly takes the eye.

Santari Khri Emitter

santari khri emitter

Santari Khri was a great Jedi from the High Republic, one who leaves her legacy behind in the discovery of Tanalor, Jedi Temples, as well as her lightsaber. Players can find all parts of her lightsaber in the gold chest in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor located in the Untamed Downs cave, which is accessed with the explosive Roller Miners. Players will need the Emitter piece to proceed.

Santari Khri’s Emitter is almost identical to Mace Windu’s Emitter, and players who want to find Mace Windu’s lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor should be used it. The Emitter is near enough spot on, with the circular holes at the tip of the Emitter, and the round base that curves outward.

Patience Switch

Players will need the Patience Switch in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor if they are to proceed with the Mace Windu lightsaber build. This part can be found on Coruscant as early as Chapter 1, during the Rooftop area of the game. It’s worth picking it up, for it’s the best-looking Switch for the desired apparel of Mace Windu’s lightsaber.

What makes the Patience Switch a great choice for creating Mace Windu’s lightsaber is the fact that it will give players the appearance of gold accents on the hilt. Other Switch parts do not allow such a thing to the success held by the Patience Switch, and the true gold that shines from it, providing light against the Sith.

Rebel Hero Grip

The best grip that players can use in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for Mace Windu’s lightsaber is the Rebel Hero Grip. Unfortunately, this Grip is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The set comes with the Rebel Hero outfit and the Rebel Hero lightsaber, which pays homage to Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber.

Players will want this Grip because of the plastic grips that stick to the handle of the lightsaber, much like Mace Windu’s own lightsaber. There’s a nice contrast between the black rubber grips and the silver chrome saber, but if players don’t want the Rebel Hero Grip, an alternative can be Santari Khri’s Grip, which, while not exact, still somewhat resembles Mace Windu’s lightsaber without additional cost.

Santari Khri Pommel

Another piece of Santari Khri’s lightsaber makes its way into the building of Mace Windu’s lightsaber. Players are going to want to use the Santari Khri Pommel, as it’s a part that closely resembles the iconic lightsaber of the purple-bladed Jedi Master, especially with the golden ring accents that can be placed on the hilt.

The bottom piece of the lightsaber needs the Santari Khri Pommel, not only for the detail that can be placed into the metallic colors but also for its resemblance due to the ring shape and size. It closely resembles the hilt belonging to Mace Windu closer to the others.

Imperial Chrome Primary And Secondary

imperial chrome material

Players can purchase the Imperial Weapon Material colors from Sister Taske’s Shop on Jedha in The Archive for 2 Jedha Scrolls. This will give players access to Imperial Chrome, the material that players will want to use for the Primary and Secondary colors on their lightsaber.

This will give the lightsaber a shiny, metallic chrome effect, perfectly befitting Mace Windu’s lightsaber. It’s the base layer needed for the saber and gives it the style that most Jedi have with their lightsabers.

Electrum-Plated Accent

electrum-plated material

Searching deep in the Winding Ravine area on Koboh, players will be able to find the Warm Metal Weapon Material. This set holds Electrum-Plated, a material that gives off the bright gold appearance that players will want to use for their lightsabers.

Mace Windu has gold accents on his lightsaber, and using Electrum-Plated for the accents will put gold spots in all the right places, truly cementing this design as close as possible to Mace Windu’s very own lightsaber from before he lost his hand and was electrocuted out of a window.

Plastoid Black Grip

plastoid black material

The Plastoid Weapon Material is purchasable for 2 Jedha Scrolls from Sister Taske. It’s needed for players to pull off the effective look of the rubber black grips on the grip of Mace Windu’s lightsaber, thus completing the saber to its fullest.

The black grips add a nice contrast between the metallic gold and chrome colors, providing players with the lightsaber they need to battle the forces of the Empire and avenge Mace Windu with this completed saber in their hands.
