There are a ton of new features and mechanics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, especially those found on the planet Koboh. Though there aren't as many explorable planets in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as there are in the previous game, these planets are much more vast and open. On two of these open-world planets, players can locate shops that allow them to trade in collectibles for different items.
Best Star Wars Games Ever, Ranked
On top of many successful movies, the Star Wars franchise has also seen a whole host of incredible games that have brought its universe to life.
There is Doma's shop, Zee's shop, and Caij's shop on Koboh, and then there is the Jedha Archive shop on the planet Jedha. To trade with these shops, players will need to find Priorite Shards, Bounty Pucks, High Republic Datadiscs, and Jedha Scrolls. Once players find these shops, there are specific items that they should work on buying as soon as possible.
Updated March 2, 2025, by Melody MacReady: The adventures of Cal Kestis carry on across the planets Koboh, Jedha, Coruscant, and more in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This Souls-like experience allows players to fulfill their Jedi fantasies by using the Force and swinging a lightsaber. However, it’s not easy, as Cal starts off as an imperfect Jedi Knight. Many upgrades, which include perks and abilities beneficial in battle, are locked behind shops on the main world of Koboh. Additionally, there are a few other miscellaneous upgrades that provide nice bonuses for either spending time in the main hub or customizing the main character.
12 Song: Sugaan Essena
Throwback To The First Game That Gives The Saloon More Heart
- Location: Doma's Outpost Commodities
- Cost: 3 Priorite Shards
Atmospheric heavy metal is not what comes to mind when people think of Star Wars music, but the song Sugaan Essena, created and performed by The Hu quickly became a memorable piece of music in the first game. So much so that Respawn Entertainment brought them back as the fictional band, The Agasar, to provide new music that can be played at the Saloon on Koboh.
There are many tracks to unlock throughout the game, but at Doma's shop, Sugaan Essena is available for purchase and once DD-EC and Ashe are unlocked, the player can choose any song they want to play at the Saloon. It's a nice throwback to the first game and a good way to give Pyloon's Saloon more of an atmosphere which it lacks at first.
11 Hair: Windswept
The Best Hair Available At Doma's Shop
- Location: Doma's Outpost Commodities
- Cost: 6 Priorite Shards
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has many surprising upgrades from Fallen Order and one of them is the far superior customization system for Cal Kestis and BD-1. His clothes, hair, lightsaber, droid, and blaster can be changed from top to bottom with pieces found across different planets. One of the better hairstyles is the Windswept style, which is reminiscent of Anakin Skywalker from Revenge Of The Sith.
On top of just being stylish, the Windswept style arguably fits Cal the most due to the darker story and tone featured in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It gives Cal the appearance of a rugged wanderer trying to survive a galaxy that is constantly out to destroy him, and it can easily be found as Doma's shop for six priorite shards.
10 Mysterious Keycode
An Extra Stim Is Always Worth The Effort
- Location: Doma's Outpost Commodities
- Cost: 10 Priorite Shards
Doma's Outpost is the very first item shop that players will come across in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Doma has her store set up right next to Pyloon's Saloon, so players will have no trouble accessing the building. The Mysterious Keycode is a curious item that Doma has in her inventory, which will cost players an expensive amount of ten Priorite Shards.
After making a purchase, the Mysterious Keycode will grant Cal access to the backroom of Doma's Outpost. This access will reward BD-1 with an extra healing stim. Since Star Wars Jedi: Survivor heavily emphasizes Souls-like combat and challenges, it is always advisable to obtain more stims as early as possible.
9 Perk Slot
Always Wise To Get More Perks For Cal
- Location: Zee's Datadisc Decryption
- Cost: 10 Datadiscs
Perk Slots in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can be a little complicated to obtain, especially with the puzzles on Jedha. One of the easiest ways to obtain a new Perk Slot for Cal to utilize in his adventure is for players to purchase a Perk Slot from Zee's Datadisc Decryption.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - 14 Best Outfits For Cal
Clothing options always helps players feel more immersed and unique, and these are some of the best options for Cal.
With Zee's Datadisc Decryption, players can spend a large amount of ten Datadiscs to obtain a new Perk Slot. Having this Perk Slot will allow gamers to equip even more perks to the Jedi Knight protagonist, which is preferable in the latter half of the game when players will need as many upgrades and perks as possible.
8 Slice: B2 Droid
Super Battle Droids Can Be The Perfect Ally
- Location: Caij's Bounty Board
- Cost: 2 Bounty Punks
Just like in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, players can use BD-1 to slice into opposing droids. To do so, players will have to purchase these slice abilities from Caij, the bounty hunter. The Slice: B2 Droid ability is arguably the best slice ability that players can purchase from Caij in the saloon for enough bounty pucks.
When acquired for two Bounty Pucks, players will be able to have BD-1 slice into a B2 Droid after it has taken a considerable amount of damage. These droids are great to have, as they deal consistent damage and withhold a good amount of health, especially in the difficult boss fights and some of the Force Tear challenges.
7 Perk: Wisdom
Extra Experience Is Always Helpful In An RPG
- Location: Zee's Datadisc Decryption
- Cost: 5 Datadiscs
There are a lot of great perks in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that players can find and equip, with the Wisdom perk helping Cal get stronger quickly to help the player feel like a powerful Jedi straight out of the movies. Leveling up can be a little slow, so players have different ways of speeding that process up.
One of those ways is to equip the Wisdom perk. The Wisdom perk can be bought from Zee for five Datadiscs. After equipping this perk with three Perk Slots, players will receive much more experience from defeating enemies, meaning they will level up faster, which is helpful when trying to unlock as many skills for Cal as possible.
6 Charge Shot: Ricochet
Hit Multiple Enemies For The Price Of One
- Location: Caij's Bounty Board
- Cost: 2 Bounty Punks
The Blaster stance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has become one of the most popular lightsaber stances for players to use while journeying through the game's side content and story missions. To upgrade the Blaster stance, players will need to use their Skill Points to invest in better Blaster upgrades or purchase upgrades like Ricochet from Caij.
Caij's Bounty Board can be found in Pyloon's Saloon and the Ricochet charge shot will cost players two Bounty Pucks, and will then allow gamers to switch their charge shot to Ricochet, which will bounce the shot onto other enemies. This is most useful when dealing with swarms of enemies that can pester the player, even weaker enemies.
5 Charge Shot: Stun Shot
Stop Fast Enemies In Their Tracks
- Location: Caij's Bounty Board
- Cost: 2 Bounty Punks
Not only can players acquire the Ricochet Charge Shot ability at Caij's Bounty Board, but players will also be able to obtain the Stun Shot ability. Just like Ricochet, the Stun Shot will cost two Bounty Pucks. When players switch their Charge Shot to Stun Shot at a Meditation Point, Cal's blaster's Charge Shot will now stun enemies that are hit by it.
Enemies in close vicinity to the Stun Shot will also be staggered by the Stun Shot, opening them up for Cal's various lightsaber attacks. This also helps BD-1 easily hack into droids that have been hit by the Stun Shot, especially in the latter half of the game when droid enemies such as the Sentry models are some of the hardest to fight.
4 Equilibrium Perk
The Force Is Not Meant For Aggression But It Doesn't Hurt
- Location: Zee's Datadisc Decryption
- Cost: 5 Datadiscs
One of the best combat-related perks in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can easily be purchased on Koboh. At Zee's Datadisk Decryption, players can use five Datadiscs to purchase the Equilibrium perk. Once the Equilibrium perk is equipped, which will need three Perk Slots, players using a Force ability will have their next lightsaber attack's damage boosted.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – 12 Best Lightsaber Skins
Players can create a seemingly infinite amount of lightsabers of unique designs thanks to the plethora of parts found in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
This can be extremely useful in various situations, particularly those that necessitate crowd control through the Force and aggressive lightsaber combinations. It is most effective when using the single-blade and dual-blade stances, which emphasize the integration of lightsaber techniques with Force abilities.
3 Versatility Perk
Changing Lightsabers Provides An Advantage
- Location: Zee's Datadisc Decryption
- Cost: 5 Datadiscs
After obtaining the perk from Zee, gamers can now place Versatility into three Perk Slots. Having the Versatility perk equipped with Cal will help out players who like to consistently switch between lightsaber stances as it temporarily boosts lightsaber damage whenever the player switches lightsaber stances, which is ideal for Sith builds focusing on straight-up damage output through lightsaber combat.
Stances such as the Dual Blade and the Blaster fighting styles sacrifice damage for speed, and as a result, the Versatility perk can help them feel just as effective as the more powerful stances. However, it still has the same effect for the Crossguard and Single-Blade stances, assisting in taking down the health of damage sponge enemies.
