To celebrate Star Wars Day, a pastry chef created a stormtrooper helmet entirely out of chocolate. The chef shared an online video detailing the process from beginning to end.

Star Wars Day is celebrated on May 4th, a date chosen to honor the pun "May the Fourth be with you" that spun from the franchise's iconic "May the Force be with you" line. The day celebrates the franchise, with people often sharing Star Wars fan art or other creative endeavors to express their love for the universe George Lucas created.

To celebrate Star Wars Day 2023, Amaury Guichon took to TikTok to share how they created a detailed chocolate stormtrooper helmet. Set to the tune of Mat Brook's "Darth Vader," the video shows Guichon carefully crafting the chocolate stormtrooper helmet mold in multiple steps. After completing the initial design, Guichon colors the chocolate helmet white, but the work is incomplete. Guichon continues to craft and color individual pieces, adding them to the initial design until it resembles a stormtrooper helmet.

Guichon's talents are not limited to Star Wars. The pastry chef's TikTok account features several videos in which he creates stunningly detailed desserts. From chocolate velociraptors, a chocolate foosball machine to celebrate the World Cup, and a dartboard cake, there is no denying Guichon is a master of their craft. Animal lovers may find themselves drawn to Guichon's incredible chocolate kangaroo, fox, shark, or tiger designs, to name a few.

After Disney acquired Lucasfilm from Lucas, the House of Mouse began developing and releasing Star Wars projects faster than fans were used to. After all, the original and sequel trilogies were released nearly twenty years apart, with only a handful of Star Wars-related projects released in between. Since Disney acquired the franchise, there have been five Star Wars films, six television shows, another season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and multiple shorts. This has led some fans to believe there is Star Wars overload and that the franchise longer feels special now that numerous projects are released each year.

However, creations like Guichon's chocolate stormtrooper helmet prove there is still a passion for Star Wars. While there's a lot of Star Wars content out there (perhaps too much for some), fan work like Guichon's might bring a smile to some people and remind them why they still love the franchise.

The Star Wars saga is available on Disney Plus.
