Andor has concluded on Disney Plus, and while the story of some of the characters ends here, others continue in future Star Wars projects like Rogue One and beyond. With Season 2 of Andor now complete, let's look back at all the ways this final season improved upon the first iteration of this Star Wars prequel.

Andor is ripe with complex characters, with a growing rebellion slowly spreading over the vastness of the Galactic Empire. Involved on both sides are interesting characters trying to do what they deem as the right thing, but not all of them get to see the sunset on their hopes and dreams, so without further ado, here’s the fate of all Andor characters.

17 Cassian Andor

A Rebel Captain Who Died in the Battle of Scarif

After working closely with Luthen for years, Cassian Andor eventually joined the ranks of the Rebellion and earned the rank of captain. Cassian was often rogue, and would disobey orders to do what he deemed was right. After the events of Andor, Cassian would commit his final act of rebellion by disobeying orders and venturing to Scarif, where, alongside Jyn Erso, he was able to steal the Death Star plans and transmit them to the Rebel Alliance before the Death Star destroyed the planet. His last moments were spent with Jyn Erso, most likely thinking about the love of his life, Bix Caleen.

16 Bix Caleen

Survived the Empire And Raised Cassian Andor’s Child

Bix Caleen was in love with Cassian, but the two could never be together, not until the Empire had been destroyed. Bix knew how important Cassian was for the Rebel Alliance, so his leaving it to spend a life with her was something she could not allow. Bix fled Yavin-4 in the dead of night, leaving Cassian behind to be the rebel that he needed to be. After the events of the show, Bix is seen back on the fields of the peaceful Mina-Rau, alongside B2EMO, looking at the sunset with the baby she conceived with Cassian.

15 Luthen Rael

The Original Rebel Takes His Own Life to Avoid Capture

Luthen Rael is the reason the Rebellion is in full swing. Without Luthen, the Rebel Alliance wouldn’t exist in such an organized fashion, emerging from his shadow operatives to become something greater than he could dream of. As the walls close in on him in Coruscant, he sacrifices himself so that his secrets die with him, and the future of the Rebellion lives on Yavin-4 without Imperial captors to torture the information out of him. Luthen’s death symbolizes his commitment to the Rebellion, and how he gladly died for it, knowing the value he had could never be in the Emperor’s hands.

14 Kleya Marki

Luthen’s Most Integral and Loyal Soldier in the Rebellion Lives on Yavin-4

Kleya was raised by Luthen, and the man taught her everything she would ever know about rebellion and standing against oppression. Working alongside Luthen as his concierge and moonlighting as the most important member of his spy network, Kleya would assist the Rebellion from Coruscant and transmit information until it all came undone. Kleya had to use her abilities to sneak into the hospital where Luthen was held after he attempted to kill himself to finish the job to make sure the Empire could not have his secrets. Then, Kleya was assisted off-world to Yavin-4 by Cassian Andor. Alone and without her father, Kleya attempted to wander into the forests of Yavin-4, most likely to take her own life, but she was thankfully stopped and comforted by Vel Sartha.

13 Vel Sartha

Mon Mothma’s Cousin Fights the Empire, Despite Great Loss

Fighting the Empire as one of Luthen’s operatives, Vel Sartha would grow into a larger role with the Rebel Alliance, even through great losses. Vel lost her lover, Cinta Kaz, but she gained hope with the Rebellion. As the cousin of Mon Mothma, she would serve under her and protect her from threats, remaining on Yavin-4 with the remaining rebels to continue fighting the Empire.

12 Cinta Kaz

Luthen’s Rebel Operative Was Killed in Action on Ghorman

Despite disappearing for a while, Cinta Kaz returned to Luthen’s operations and reunited with her love, Vel Sartha. The two shared intimacy and passion before heading into what was supposed to be the first of many missions together. Unfortunately, a mission on Ghorman saw Cinta Kaz killed, as one of their own operatives misfired his weapon, and the rogue blaster shot instantly killed Cinta Kaz.

11 Wilmon Paak

A Talented Bomb Maker Aids the Rebellion After His Injuries

Wilmon Paak was brought into the Rebellion by Saw Gerrera, who saw more in Wilmon than the young man originally thought. Starting out as an agent for Luthen, Wilmon would soon breathe in the demand for freedom with Saw and worked to restore the Republic with the Rebellion. However, as an operative often stationed on Ghorman, Wilmon fell for a freedom fighter, Dreena. Wilmon would fight through the Ghormanan Massacre to get to Dreena, where the two managed to flee to Yavin-4 for safety. Wilmon’s leg injury gave him a permanent limp that meant he could not fight, but he aided the Rebellion in other ways.

10 Mon Mothma

A Proud Senator Who Told All of Palpatine’s Evil

Mon Mothma does not fight through the violence that is required of the Rebellion, but she does fight with her words. Through powerful diplomacy, rousing speeches, and inspiring leadership, Mon Mothma proves that the dream of the Republic is still alive. Mon Mothma’s constant criticism of the Empire in the Senate would see the ISB try to arrest her, but with a final speech on the Ghormanan Massacre, Mon had a plan of escape with Luthen’s spies. Mon Mothma then went on to lead the Rebellion on Yavin-4, and would continue to lead past the fall of the Empire and into the rise of the New Republic as its first Chancellor.

9 Perrin Fertha

Mon Mothma’s Husband Continues a Life of Wealth on Coruscant

After Mon Mothma’s speech on the Ghormanan Massacre that forced her to flee to Yavin-4, Perrin was left alone. Without his wife, Perrin sought comfort in Runai Sculdun, the wife of Davo Sculdun a rebellious banker who had ties with Mon Mothma. Perrin was loyal to the Empire simply because he enjoyed the luxuries he could afford as Mon’s consort, and it seems those luxuries continue with Runai.

8 Bail Organa

The Senator of Alderaan Who Championed Revolution Until His Death

Bail Organa was another Senator who was integral to the Rebellion in more ways than could possibly be known. Bail, an old friend of the Jedi Order, would raise Anakin’s daughter, Leia, as his own to hide her from the Empire. Bail would also help Mon Mothma take the Senate floor to give rousing speeches, before Bail himself would flee for Yavin-4. Unfortunately, the Empire knew of Bail’s rebellious nature, and they used his home planet, Alderaan, as the testing ground for the Death Star. The Death Star destroyed Alderaan, where Bail Organa took his last breath unknowingly, but he lives on in the memory and teachings of Leia Organa.
