There are five different types of squirrels, and each one has its own schedule. The good news is that they are all found in Plaza, which is the first area you unlock, so you can start befriending them pretty early in the game. Each type of squirrel has a different schedule that it follows. Here are all the Squirrels players can find:

How To Feed Squirrels In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Feeding squirrels is actually pretty simple compared to some of the other critters in the game. All you need are peanuts, which you can buy from Chez Remy for just 200 Star Coins.

Players can also use peanuts in recipes, like Peanut Butter Sandwich and Peanut Butter Waffles. And although peanuts are the squirrels’ favorite food, they will also happily eat fruits like bananas and strawberries if you don’t have peanuts on hand.
