How to Get Sand Dollars in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game

Sand Dollars are the main currency in Bikini Bottom, and players can earn them by taking part in various activities scattered throughout the undersea city. Activities in the game are divided into two categories: Quests and Feats.

Both of them reward you with Sand Dollars upon completion.

Earning Sand Dollars from Feats

Feats are the basic activities that you can find while exploring the world. For each region you explore in Bikini Bottom, you'll get a set of Feats that you can complete. The amount of Sand Dollars gained from completing each task can vary.

You'll have to discover new regions in Bikini Bottom to unlock new Feats. For example, once you find the Demolition Derby Stadium, you'll get the following Feats to complete:

  • Sunday, Sunday, Sunday: Bring a boatmobile to the Rage Room (5 Sand Dollars)
  • Hammer Throw: Throw a hammer to break a target in the Rage Room (10 Sand Dollars)
  • Mayo Hunt: Find all the Demolition Derby Stadium Mayo Jars (20 Sand Dollars)

You can find the list of Feats available by going to the Feats tab from your in-game menu.

Earning Sand Dollars from Quests

Quests are mini-games in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game, which you can start by interacting with different characters in Bikini Bottom. Most quest mini-games have a time limit and three medals that players can unlock.

  • Bronze Medal: 15 Sand Dollars
  • Silver Medal: 20 Sand Dollars
  • Gold Medal: 25 Sand Dollars

Another type of quest offers a flat amount of Sand Dollars for completing a specific task. Squidward's Sunbathing is a good example of this type of quest, where you need to push NPCs out of a certain radius in order to complete it. Like Feats, you can check the Quest tab from your in-game menu to see a list of available quests.

Earning Sand Dollars is one of the main gameplay loops in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game. As you earn more Sand Dollars, you'll be able to unlock new Costumes for Patrick and even get access to new activities in Bikini Bottom.
