Coin #1
Players should begin by making their way to the stage's second checkpoint, Algae Jungle. Fans of 3D platformers should then follow the Jelly path to reach an area that is filled with lava. As players work through this area, they will eventually find themselves standing on the platform that is depicted in the image that is above.
Here, fans should break through the tiki heads and glide down to the platform next to the large log that is below. There is a button within this log, which players should pound on to initiate a challenge that awards the first Gold Doubloon upon completion.

Sleeping Dorudon is the next stop, and fans should jump on the boulder, roll over to the platform upon which the creature is sleeping, and follow the path that is behind it. Fans of SpongeBob video games should turn left at the end of this path and hook jump their way to a platform with a button. Pounding on that button starts a challenge in which players must glide around the sleeping dorudon, absorb enemies with the reef blower, and use those enemies to access the second Gold Doubloon within the goo room near the button.

Fans of family-friendly video games should now head to Volcano Slide and ride that slide to the point depicted in the image that is above. There is a break in the slide at this position, and players must veer to the right to hit a trampoline in the lava. This trampoline will send SpongeBob to an elevated section of the slide, which leads directly to the third Gold Doubloon.

The final coin is within Cave Painting Cave. Specifically, it is behind the table and chair that are to the right of the cave painting puzzle.
