Neon Revenge is the first level after the intro chapter in Split Fiction. It takes Mio and Zoe to one of Mio’s old ideas, where the theme of the story is revenge. The duo will play as a Cyber Ninja seeking justice against the tyranny of parking tickets.

Rush Hour
Intro Puzzle
As the first level, the Neon Revenge chapter in Split Fiction starts simple. The game introduces you to Zoe and Mio’s mechanics.
- Zoe: Pull the mechanism’s cover on the left.
- Mio: Attack it.
- Zoe: Lift the gate.
Puzzle #1
- Mio: Gravity shift to the right wall and release the cable next to it.
- Zoe: Jump through the gap and swing using the cable.
- Zoe: Drag the container to Mio.
- Mio: Jump on the container.
- Zoe: Drag it to the other side slowly.
- Mio: Jump above the obstacles and attack the pink fabrics protecting the boxes at the end.
- Zoe: Throw the boxes away.
Puzzle #2
- Mio: Break the glass then gravity shift to the other side.
- Zoe: Grab the objects coming from the right.
- Mio: Hit the core container to open it.
- Zoe: Throw the objects into the core.
- Zoe: Rotate the valve to one side to reveal a pink object.
- Mio: Destroy the object.
- Zoe: Rotate the valve to the other side.
- Mio: Destroy the object again.
Puzzle #3
After the door opens, players will exit outside, where they must jump and swing on cars and trucks. Eventually, Mio and Zoe will arrive on a truck with a pink button on it.
The Best Co-Op Games To Play After Beating It Takes Two
It Takes Two is one of the best co-op games out there right now, but there are some other great co-op games to turn to after completing it.
Here’s how to solve the truck and crane puzzle in the Rush Hour level in Split Fiction:
- Zoe: Stand on the ejecting platform.
- Mio: Hit the pink button to launch Zoe.
- Zoe: Grab the objects at the end of the truck and throw them to the glass blocking the gravity shift. You may have to throw a few times to break it.
- Mio: Gravity shift to the truck.
- Zoe: Drag the crane to Mio.
- Mio: Swing on the machine.
- Zoe: Drag the crane to the other side.
Puzzle #4
The next tricky puzzle in the Rush Hour level is the firetruck puzzle. To solve the firetruck puzzle in Split Fiction, follow these steps:
- Mio: Gravity shift to the side, then jump on the firetruck.
- Zoe: Pull the hook so Mio can climb up.
- Mio: Hit the pink button.
- Zoe: Lift the ladder to create a bridge, then swing over to reunite with Mio.
Rush Hour Battle
The battle at the end of the Rush Hour chapter is quite straightforward, where Mio hits enemies with her sword while Zoe throws enemies around or on each other to beat them.
Later on, the duo will be bombarded with explosives, so retaliate following these steps:
- Mio: Open the door on top of the truck.
- Zoe: Grab the objects and throw them at the police car. Repeat until the car is destroyed.
As the next chapter starts, players will be introduced to the side story system, with The Legend of the Sandfish level available to experience.

Play Me Techno
Puzzle #1
- Mio: Gravity shift to the right wall, then use it again to get to the other side.
- Mio: Attack the ball to launch it at Zoe.
- Zoe: Catch the ball and throw it at the window nearby.
- Mio: Aim the ball at the window on the other side.
- Mio: Once Zoe makes it out, send her another ball.
- Zoe: Catch the ball and break the other window.
- Zoe: Once Mio and Zoe meet, grab the ball and attack the glass window next to the hop scotch/ball hoop.
- Mio: Gravity shift to the wall, shift back down, and then hit the stairs for Zoe.
Puzzle #2
After both characters reach the subway, let the train pass first, then jump into the tunnel and sprint to the other side. Both characters will have to go through another tunnel after. The train will pass through that one while they’re still in the tunnel, so, you’ll have to react and avoid the train quickly using your hook.
Puzzle #3
Once Zoe and Mio get outside of the Subway, they’ll be close to reaching the hideout. Parkour through the buildings by jumping and running on the wall to the left to reach the area right next to the hideout. From there, jump again aiming for the ladder that leads to the skyscraper’s roof.
On the roof, look for the spinning fan with a mechanism next to it. Zoe and Mio will be looking for a way to enter the building.
- Zoe: Grab the mechanism and raise it.
- Mio: Attack it to slow down the fan.
Inside, both characters will keep jumping over platforms to reach the elevator at the end of the disco. Eventually, they’ll run into a dead-end, and both characters must work together to find the missing platform.
- Zoe: Interact with the mechanism to lift one of the platforms.
- Mio: Stay on the platform as it moves up and destroy the two cables.
After traversing through the club, players will fight the first boss of Split Fiction, Mr. Hammer. To beat him, wait until his hammer is on the floor, lift and throw it with Zoe, then attack with Mio.
Streets of Neon
The Streets of Neon chapter is where the Farmlife side story in Split Fiction can be found. Right when the level starts, the duo will mention the side story. To reach it, leap over the fence next to the elevator. It's located before reaching the first puzzle of the level.

Puzzle #1
The first puzzle in the Streets of Neon sub-level in Split Fiction requires players to make these moves:
- Mio: Gravity shift to the wall.
- Zoe: Throw green sticks on the wall for Mio to walk on.
- Mio: Head to the end of the route.
- Zoe: Break the glass using the green stick, then stand on the launch pad.
- Mio: Hit the pink button to launch Zoe.
Puzzle #2
The puzzle right after is somewhat similar as it can be solved with these steps:
- Zoe: Throw the green stick for Mio to jump on.
- Mio: Hit the pink mechanism to enable grapple point for Zoe.
- Zoe: Swing on the grapple point.
- Mio: Run to the next mechanism before Zoe falls.
- Zoe: Swing to the other side. After landing, throw the green cover.
- Mio: Gravity shift to return to Zoe.
After passing the Streets of Neon chapter, players must battle the Parking Attendant, which will start with parkour actions before the duo arrives at the rooftop. At the boss fight arena, Zoe must use her ability to throw items and pull the boss’ parts, whereas Mio will stick to the boss and hit it from up close.
The Getaway Car
In the Getaway Car chapter, Zoe takes the wheel of a flying car, while Mio is in charge of shooting enemies and obstacles. This level is straightforward in terms of route, but is packed with action.
Big City Life
After falling into the pool from the previous car ride, walk around the pool area until players reach a place with a bench. Sitting on the bench is not necessary but will unlock a conversation between the duo.
To move forward, look up at the flying cars, then hook on them to fly to the target hotel (Gemini Imperium Hotel).
Once players land on the rooftop, they need to solve the toilet puzzle to reach the hotel on the other side:
- Mio: Enter the porta potty.
- Zoe: Throw the porta potty to the other side.
- Mio: Head to the trash can with a pink marker; hit it.
- Zoe: Pay attention to the items that are flying. There will be one that Zoe can swing on; use it to reach Mio.

Flipped Cityscapes
After using the elevator in the hotel, the camera shifts to a 2D view. Here, only Mio can use her ability, so she has to be the one solving the puzzles. Around the area, keep an eye on pink items to interact with.
Gravity Bike
In the Gravity Bike chapter, the two will find a motorcycle to run away with. This part requires Mio to drive and gravity shift while Zoe throws items at enemies.

Later on, Zoe has to solve a captcha to override the self-destruct mechanism. Solving this is not necessary as players will still move forward with the game.

In the Skyscraper Climb, each player controls their own bike. Players must keep heading up the skyscraper until they reach the final boss of the Neon Revenge chapter in Split Fiction.
To beat the SRI Crime Boss in Split Fiction, players should hold the gun-shot button while driving around to catch the blue orb and refill the gun.
