True to their title, the Mechanic player character will use various machines and ink-fueled weapons during their island expedition. The reveal of Splatoon Raiders was paired with information about Splatoon 3's version 10.0.0 update, which introduced the Splatlands weapons collection for players to unlock.

Although Nintendo has not confirmed any information about a possible Direct, an upcoming maintenance window for the Nintendo eShop has lent credence to the idea that one will be broadcast by July 31.
