Sony Pictures has announced the digital and Blu-ray release date for the highly-successful Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film, which recently became the third highest-grossing film at the US box office, will arrive digitally on March 22 and 4K UHD and Blu-ray on April 12.

The studio made the announcement by releasing a photo of Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire recreating the popular Spider-Man pointing meme —and yes, it's already breaking the internet. Spider-Man: No Way Home debuted theatrically on December 17, 2021, and has since grossed over $772 million and counting at the U.S. Box office. Not to mention its global earnings, which are estimated at around a whopping $1.8 billion. Naturally, such a successful debut was bound to break some records, including the highest-grossing film of 2021, the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time, and the highest-grossing Spider-Man film, among others. In addition, the film earned critical acclaim and even landed a Best Visual Effects nomination at the 94th Academy Awards, though fans (and celebrities alike) believe Spider-Man: No Way Home should have been nominated for Best Picture.

Spider-Man: No Way Home features three generations of Spider-Men (Holland, Garfield, and Maguire) coming together to defeat villains from other timelines, including the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina). While the future of the character remains unclear, Holland expressed his desire to see Garfield give Spider-Man another shot during an interview with Phase Zero. The actor went on to praise Garfield's performance in No Way Home, emphasizing how he was able to "make amends" with both Sony and the character.

Moreover, Garfield stated that he's open to the possibility of returning as Spider-Man. The actor famously portrayed the wall-crawler on 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man and its 2014 sequel but never got a third installment. While Garfield would consider reprising the role of Spider-Man, it would have to be under the right circumstances.

Whether The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is happening or not, the actors have struck up a close friendship following Spider-Man: No Way Home. Garfield recently revealed that Holland and Maguire even congratulated him on his much-deserved Oscar nomination for his role as Jonathan Larson in tick, tick... BOOM!

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives on digital March 22 and on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on April 12, 2022.
