Space Marine 2's campaign is the first thing players will do upon starting up Space Marine 2 as they follow Titus on his last mission with Deathwatch. Upon arriving on the Battle Barge, the other game modes will open up, with one being the rest of the campaign.
The campaign only takes a few hours to beat and is the basis for everything else Space Marine 2 has to offer. For players who focused on beating the campaign first, here are all the other things you can do once it is finished.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 - How To Mark Enemies
Marking enemies will not only earn players the Pure Them All achievement in Space Marine 2, but will help them communicate with squad mates.
Is There Any Post-Game Content In Space Marine 2?
Upon beating the campaign, nothing new will open up, but players will have the freedom to fully play the Operations mode without getting any story-related spoilers. Operations follow the teams of Space Marines fighting alongside Titus as they clear other objectives to support his main mission, and completing one that is ahead of your campaign progress will result in a warning message.
One of the Operations takes place during the final mission of the game, and after seeing Titus' story players can use the Quick Play option without concern about which Operation is selected.
Space Marine 2: 6 Best Classes For Eternal War
There are six classes players can choose from in Eternal War in Space Marine 2; here are which ones are best.
What All Can Be Done After Completing The Campaign
One of the first options players will have while still in the campaign game mode is completing any mission they want again. By selecting the planet and mission, you can replay any one in any order, which is perfect if you want to play the final mission again just to Defend The Banner again. Dataslates are this game's collectible, and they are scattered about in specific missions. Replaying only those you need to look for Dataslates in can make completing your library and getting the trophy much easier.
One major focus between Operations and Eternal War is customizing your Space Marine. Unlocked armor pieces and colors transfer between game modes even though your armor preset doesn't, and players will need to win many Operations or Eternal War games in order to unlock some of the relic-tier armor options.
Some unique armor pieces like Deathwatch pieces require a specific process to obtain.
Your character level in Eternal War and Operations will be separate, with each class also having its own individual levels. In both game modes players can earn various rewards to be used in that game mode:
