South of Midnight breaks up its story into multiple chapters. However, not all of these chapters will be the same length. In fact, some chapters are longer than multiple other chapters combined. While this might seem a tad inconsistent, it helps a lot with the pacing of each of the game’s individual story elements.
While the game may have received a mixed reception, the game’s story is one of its best elements. Longer chapters have plenty of combat and exploration elements, but players can take a breather whenever they feel the need without it affecting the gravity and emotions they’ll feel — thanks to narrated storybook cutscenes between each chapter to sum things up.
South of Midnight: How To Get More Floofs
To get more Floofs, South of Midnight players must go out of their way to find secret Floof locations, Tin Flips, and Stigma to unravel.
