Source of Inspiration Quest Walkthrough In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

How to Start Source of Inspiration Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To start the Source of Inspiration Quest, players must talk to Master Voyta inside Trosky Castle right after completing the Sketchy Situation Quest, which starts the Brushes with Death DLC. During your conversation with him, you will learn about the pagan god Veles’s shrine, and Voyta wants to know its location. He will mention an old woman north of Tachov who might know about the shrine.

Fast travel to Vidlák Pond if you have already been there, and talk to Kvyetoslava. She will have a hard time remembering anything and will mention Valerian flowers that someone used to pick for her.

To acquire five Valerian flowers for her, talk to her again about their location, and she will mention that you can go down to the stream or the meadow beside the cottage to find some. From the old woman, start walking north while paying attention to the ground below you, and soon you will come across a bunch of Valerian flowers. Picking 2 batches should do the trick, and you can return to her.

The next section of the quest, where you have to give the dress, is important, as there is a missable trophy/achievement for players eager to collect all of them. You will need around 20 Charisma and Scholarship to pass the several skill checks needed for the trophy. Reading books bought from scribes can increase your Scholarship, and the tailor in Troskowitz has quite a few clothing items that increase your Charisma.

There is also Scribe Erazim inside Trosky Castle, who can improve your Scholarship if you pay him 200 Groschen.

Where to Find the Veles Shrine In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After completing the skill checks, ask about the shrine again, and she will tell you three locations where the shrine could be. Two of these locations—the rocky hill between the ponds and the stream flowing past Nebakov Fortress—are normal pagan shrines, so you do not have to visit them. Head for the third option, which is the river tributary of Lower Semine Pond.

Fast travel to Nebakov Fortress and make your way west through the forest until you reach the marker. There will be four bandits roaming around the shrine area that you must deal with before interacting with the shrine. You can go for the offensive approach and take all of them on at the same time. However, if you want to play it safe, you can wait till 1 a.m. When all the bandits will be asleep and stealth kill them one by one using a dagger.

Once you have killed them, loot their bodies and the chest if you want, and go over to the shrine. Look around the shrine to complete the objective, and you can then head back to Voyta and tell him about the shrine and take him there. Talk to him after the cutscene finishes, and this will complete the quest.
