As far as fan ratings go, Chainsaw Man secured a far higher rating than any other anime of 2025. On MAL, the highest rated anime of 2025 until recently was The Apothecary Diaries Season 2, with Solo Leveling Season 2 not too behind it. However, all the anime have been trounced by the latest blockbuster hit from Studio Mappa, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie.

Even Frieren Isn't Safe
At the moment, Frieren Season 1 holds the record of being the best anime of all time. After its release, it quickly went on to do the unthinkable and surpass even Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in fan ratings — something that most fans thought would never happen.
However, now, Frieren needs to watch as Chainsaw Man is coming for its throne. Chainsaw Man is 2025’s best anime, but it could well become the best anime of all time based on the fan ratings. With Frieren sitting at 9.28, Chainsaw Man isn't too far behind and could soon catch up to it.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now.
