This article contains major spoilers for the Solo Leveling Manhwa beyond Season 2.

All over the world, Solo Leveling has grown to become one of the most popular anime series of recent years. The story of Solo Leveling, originally from South Korea, has become one of the most anticipated ones, especially in 2025 after the massive success of its second season. While Solo Leveling’s big success has amassed a huge fanbase, right now, the fans are rather disappointed due to no sequel announcements.

Instead, fans have turned their focus onto the next biggest thing Solo Leveling has to offer, and that's the new video game, Solo Leveling Karma. Solo Leveling Karma isn’t out yet, but it released a major trailer recently. This trailer is filled with some of the most exciting content that hasn't happened in the anime yet, and has also spoiled some major deaths. Fans of the anime were shocked to see the deaths of Korea’s second strongest, Go Gun-hee, as well as Jinwoo’s father, Sung II-Hwan.

Solo Leveling Karma Spoiled the Death Of Go Gun-hee For Thousands Of Fans

Solo Leveling has just received some new animated content, much to the delight of the fans. This new animated content came in the form of a short trailer for the upcoming Solo Leveling game, known as Solo Leveling: Karma.

Fans were definitely excited to see what A-1 Pictures had in store with this trailer, but nobody really expected it to feature as many spoilers as it did. For any fan of the anime, this trailer would practically ruin the biggest of surprises, including major deaths. This trailer was especially devastating for fans who did not know what to expect from it, and who aren’t caught up with the Manhwa.

Undoubtedly, the biggest spoiler that the trailer gave to the fans was the death of Go Gun-hee. Go Gun-hee is known to be the Chairman of the Hunter Association in South Korea, and he stands as the second strongest Korean Hunter, right after Sung Jinwoo.

Seeing him die in the trailer definitely shocked many, and ruined the surprise for anyone looking forward to the upcoming Solo Leveling seasons or movie.

In the Manhwa, Go Gun-hee dies during the Monarch War arc, which, in the anime, would happen around the 4th season. He was killed by Sillad, the Monarch of Frost.

Solo Leveling Karma’s Trailer Also Showed Sung II-Hwan’s Death

The huge death spoilers didn’t stop with Go Gun-hee. Indeed, the trailer also spoiled another major death in Solo Leveling, and this one features Sung Jinwoo’s own father, Sung II-Hwan. Fans have already met Sung II-Hwan in the anime, but he's barely been explored. Anime-only fans have no idea about his real motives, or his true powers. Seeing him crumble away in the trailer while holding Jinwoo has definitely ruined their reunion for anime-only fans.

The spoilers in the Solo Leveling Karma trailer were definitely egregious, especially as fans didn't expect them to go so heavy on them, and many probably clicked to watch it without prior knowledge. Nevertheless, fans are still excited to see what the Solo Leveling series has in store with this new game. After all, Solo Leveling Karma won’t be your average game.

Instead, it will add much-needed lore to one of the least explored events in the Manhwa, that of the 27-year Monarch War. This war takes place after Jinwoo turns back time. He then fights the Monarchs for almost three decades in hopes of avoiding the tragedies that unfolded in the original timeline. The events of the 27-year Monarch War weren't really expanded on as well in the Manhwa, so fans are definitely excited to learn more details about them.

Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
