This article contains spoilers for Solo Leveling.

Getting an official announcement for Solo Leveling Season 3 would be a dream come true for fans who can’t wait to watch the story arcs after Jeju Island. The fight between Jinwoo and the Ant King was a visual feast, but fans have long moved on to the next major story arcs that would not only feature Jinwoo and his shadow army but also his future wife, Cha Hae-In.

While Solo Leveling exerted more effort in developing Cha Hae-In's character in its previous seasons, the strongest female S-rank hunter failed to deliver the best moments of her career. To fix that, Solo Leveling Season 3 must adapt these Cha Hae-In moments to do her justice.

Cha Hae-In's Application to Jinwoo's Guild

Solo Leveling features a lot of guilds based in Korea, where most hunters gather rather than operating independently or serving under the Korean Hunters Association. Cha Hae-In is prominent for being the second-in-command of the Hunters Guild, which is widely regarded as the top guild in the nation. There, she is well-respected by her peers, who look up to her graceful swordsmanship that’s second to none.

Despite this, Cha Hae-In plans to transfer from the Hunters Guild to the Ahjin Guild even if it means she will pay a hefty amount for breaching her hunter contract.

She meets with Jinwoo at the Ahjin Guild Office, where she declares her intentions to join. However, her impulsive decision puts her in an unexpectedly awkward and embarassing position after Jinwoo questions her real motives. Instead of taking her seriously, she faced judgment from Jinwoo himself.

Cha Hae-In's First Shadow Exchange Experience

Cha Hae-In is one of the few characters in Solo Leveling who knows Sung Jinwoo’s ability to extract shadows and command them like servants. However, she’s not yet aware of Jinwoo’s Shadow Exchange skill, which allows him to swap positions with a specific shadow instantly.

Surprisingly, Jinwoo can be generous enough to show Cha Hae-In the full potential of his Shadow Exchange skill. In Solo Leveling Season 3, Cha Hae-In will experience the Shadow Exchange skill by giving him consent to involve her in a very intimate demonstration. One minute they are inside the Ahjin Guild’s office, and the next, they are transported inside the gym of the KHA. Brace for this moment, as skinship between Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In is rare!

Cha Hae-In's Solo Match Against Igris

The third season of Solo Leveling is Cha Hae-In's best chance to redeem herself after her near-death experience against the Ant King in Season 2. What better way to do this than to fight at least one of Jinwoo’s elite shadows in a solo match? Igris, Jinwoo’s formidable knight, is a perfect opponent to test Cha Hae-In's real strength as S-rank.

Fans have seen Cha Hae-In defeat Japanese S-rank hunters on her own, but they haven’t seen her in an intense match against one of Jinwoo’s shadows. Who will win between Cha Hae-In and Igris? One thing is for sure, Cha Hae-In won’t back down anymore. As long as she has a sword in her hand, she will continue fighting with grace.

Cha Hae-In's Impulsive Confession to Jinwoo

It’s an open secret that Cha Hae-In and Sung Jinwoo end up together in Solo Leveling. She became Jinwoo’s wife and later gave birth to Sung Suho in Solo Leveling Ragnarok. However, before she reached this stage, Cha Hae-In earned Jinwoo’s trust. Plus, she also confessed her feelings to her in the most unexpected and nonchalant way possible.

This confession is set to happen in Solo Leveling Season 3 after Jinwoo stops Cha Hae-In's fight with Beru. When Jinwoo asked about her real intentions for joining the Ahjin Guild, Cha Hae-In boldly confirmed that she likes him. Her answer was a slip of the tongue, but that confession made a lasting impact on Jinwoo.

It’s always been Cha Hae-In's goal to defeat Beru in a rematch, after she almost died fighting the Ant King on Jeju Island. The Ant King’s shadow is one of the reasons why she continued training to no avail despite knowing that there’s a wide difference in power between them. After all, Beru can grow stronger with Jinwoo, while Cha Hae-In can’t due to established restrictions in Solo Leveling’s power system.

However, Cha Hae-In's upcoming fight with Beru in Solo Leveling Season 3 promises to be different. This time, she refuses to lose without landing a direct hit or a scratch on Beru, especially while Jinwoo is watching.

Cha Hae-In's Reunion With Min Byung-Gu

As far as we can remember, Cha Hae-In was the last person who interacted with Min Byung-Gu before he was released from the effects of the Shadow Extraction skill in Solo Leveling Season 2. He healed Cha Hae-In with his S-rank abilities but also left an urgent message for her to pass on to Jinwoo.

Cha Hae-In has yet to deliver or remember this urgent message, but she will eventually pass it on to Jinwoo in Solo Leveling Season 3. Unless the anime cuts the scene, fans are going to see Cha Hae-In and Min Byung-Gu's brief reunion in what seems like a dream sequence. The contents of the message are related to Jinwoo’s power, which could prove decisive in his battle with the Architect in the Double Dungeon.

Cha Hae-In and Jinwoo’s Parking Lot Encounter

One of the funniest encounters between Cha Hae-In and Jinwoo happens in a parking lot in front of the Ahjin Guild’s office. But before they encountered each other, Cha Hae-In was already pissed off by the viral selfie involving Jinwoo, Jin-Ho, and the beautiful Yoo Soo Hyun. Not to mention, she was obligated to deliver Min Byung-Gu's urgent message about the growing darkness of Jinwoo's powers.

Interestingly, Cha Hae-In can behave a bit like a stalker, pacing back and forth as she plots the best way to catch up with Jinwoo after confessing to him. Before she could even enter the building, Jinwoo caught her off guard and left her momentarily flustered. It’s a brief moment, but it’s cute, so we must include this on the list.

Cha Hae-In Publicly Declares Jinwoo as Her Friend

The showdown between the Architect and Sung Jinwoo is one of the most highly anticipated fights in Solo Leveling Season 3. This is where Jinwoo gets the Black Heart from Ashborn and kicks out the Architect from overseeing the system, after all. However, one of the best moments in this fight comes from Cha Hae-In and her bold declaration of her relationship with Jinwoo.

When asked by the architect about her relationship with Jinwoo, Cha Hae-In did not stutter and told the demonic specter that they were friends. For the first time, someone other than Jin-Ho openly claims their connection with Jinwoo. This moment deserves greater attention, as it marked a turning point in Cha Hae-In and Jinwoo’s romance.
