Every single week, Solo Leveling shattered records while Season 2 was airing, especially while the Jeju Island arc was ongoing. It got to a point where Solo Leveling was actually competing with itself and breaking its own records, which sounds ridiculous but is completely true. Solo Leveling has some of the most liked episodes in the history of Crunchyroll. The series broke Crunchyroll servers on multiple occasions, and it is also the most popular anime on the platform, by far.

Even across platforms like IMDB, Solo Leveling is rated lower by the fans. Frieren holds a rating of 8.9, compared to Solo Leveling’s 8.6.
