The Solo Leveling: Ragnarok novel recently ended, but fans now have great news: the manhwa adaptation is returning, and sooner than most expected. The Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webtoon went on hiatus in April to allow the authors to prepare for the second season, and the wait has seemingly come to an end.

Given how surprised and somewhat disappointed many fans were at the ending of the novel, the return of the manhwa adaptation is refreshing news for many and could change the course of Ragnarok's timeline.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Chapters 48 & 49 Release Date

A few days ago, D&C Media, one of the companies behind Solo Leveling, teased on social media that the Ragnarok manhwa would return soon. At the time, the publishing company didn't provide any release window, which frustrated some fans. But now we have learned that it's way sooner than expected: the webcomic is returning today (August 6, 2025) at 6 AM (PT) / 9 AM (ET), with two new chapters.

The last chapter before the hiatus was Chapter 47, so these will be Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Chapters 48 and 49 (or Solo Leveling Season 2: Chapters 1 and 2). Fans expect the first chapters to address the whereabouts of Cha Hae-In, since the character was teased to finally appear in the series at the end of Season 1.

Where to Read Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Season 2

  • Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Season 2 will be out today.
  • Tapas might release the new chapter this weekend.

Both the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok novel and manhwa are available to read on KakaoPage in Korean and on Tapas in English. Tapas is usually some chapters behind the Korean release, but given how long Ragnarok was on hiatus, all chapters are currently available in English now. This could mean that Tapas will release the new chapters just a few days after the Korean release.

This is especially great because fans won't need to wait much or resort to unlicensed translations to keep following the series. And considering that the manhwa diverges considerably from the novel, even those who have read the source material don't know exactly what's happening next, and the story could even have a very different ending from the novel. Additionally, a new Solo Leveling webtoon has been announced, featuring an alternate timeline for Jinwoo's sister. Therefore, even those disappointed with the ending of the novel have reasons to celebrate and keep reading more Solo Leveling content.

Solo Leveling is available to read on Crunchyroll, subbed and dubbed in English and several other languages.
