So far, only 4 out of the 10 have been revealed, but fans are very excited to see these new series flourish. Solo Leveling might have some tough competition coming up in the next few years.
Webtoon And Warner Bros Collab Puts 10 New Manhwa Adaptations On The Way
Webtoon is one of the biggest platforms for Manhwa series. Fans know well that it has a ton of exciting series, many of which have yet to get an anime adaptation. However, recently, a huge collaboration was announced, and it might change the industry of Manhwa series forever.
Indeed, Webtoon and Warner Bros have announced that they have joined hands to adapt 10 Manhwa series from the Webtoon platform. This is huge news and means that fans can expect a whole lot more Manhwa-based anime series in the future.
For now, the ten Manhwa series announced have yet to be fully confirmed. Out of the 10 announced, fans only have the names of four, and they're some of Webtoon’s most popular.
These are the known series, so far:
- The Stellar Swordmaster. A series by Hong Dae Ui and Juno.
- Hardcore Leveling Warrior. A manhwa by Sehoon Kim.
- Elf & Warrior. A creation from AC Stuart and Victor Rosas II
- Down to Earth. A popular series from Pookie Senpai

Solo Leveling Is Currently The Most Popular Manhwa Based Anime, But That Could Change
Undoubtedly, at the moment, the most popular anime series that is based on a Manhwa is Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling was always popular, but its popularity was propelled to new heights in 2024 after its first anime season.
Solo Leveling even became the very first South Korea-based series to win the title of Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Awards in 2025. It has definitely opened the path for more manhwa content in the future.
Whether newer series can surpass Solo Leveling’s fame or not will depend on how good the adaptations will be and how intriguing the stories are. A good anime adaptation of the webtoon Manhwa could lead to it becoming a worldwide sensation, and while that's a great thing, it also means Solo Leveling now has to watch its back.
