Fans don't have to think too much when it comes to Solo Leveling, which makes it a very good casual anime for anyone or watch. That, when combined it a rather cool protagonist in Sung Jinwoo ensured the status that it got.

Solo Leveling became so popular that it ended up winning the Crunchyroll Anime of the Year earlier this year. At the same time, it also ended up becoming the most-watched anime on Crunchyroll despite not having been there for all that long. But, despite all this, better anime certainly exist.
Solo Leveling Is A Good Starting Point But Better Anime Exist
Popular Shonen Are Far Better In Quality
While Solo Leveling is an easy watch, which makes it beginner-friendly, it certainly isn't the best anime out there and it most definitely isn't complex either. For those who are looking to dive deep into something that offers a similar experience but with a much better and deeper plot the choices are boundless, but three that stand out the most are, obviously, the big three anime. Naruto is the one anime that fans of Solo Leveling would absolutely love, since it gives a great blend of high-quality action, but levels up the plot in multiple ways.
Bleach is also very similar, although the story is widely considered by many to not be as good. One Piece, which is widely regarded as not just the best Shonen, but also the best manga ever, is certainly going to take the cake. For those who care more about the complex plot, this is the perfect anime. There are also others that can be considered far better than Solo Leveling, such as Frieren, or The Apothecary Diaries, among many others, but in the end, it all comes down to taste.
