As previously referenced, to kick off the Summer Vacation event, Netmarble introduced new summer attire for Sung Jin-Woo and several other fan-favorite Hunters, including Amamiya Mirei, Cha Hae-in, and Lee Bora. Notably, Seo Jiwoo's free beach costume was not included in this event; it was instead a reward for users who logged in during the 50th Day Event, which celebrated the first 50 days since the game's launch. In addition to this, Solo Leveling: Arise added a new dye system that allows players to change the chromas of their Hunter's clothing. Color-altering chromas can be acquired either through the in-game Shop or via events.
Players must first own the base costume to apply chromas.
Furthermore, while not mandatory for the main story, the Summer Vacation Event chapters offer optional rewards like Essence Stones, Vacation Memory Film, and Vacation Instant Camera. The primary rewards, however, feature SSR Weapons such as the Secured Marlin Board and the Shark Water Gun Selection Chest. Completing the mini-games provides extra prizes, with top Daily Best scores earning better rewards, such as Artifact Enhancement Chips, Essence Stones, and Custom Draw Tickets. During the limited-time event, players may use Vacation Memory Polaroids and Vacation Memory Film in the Vacation Exchange Shop for items, including, but not limited to, Skill Scrolls, Artifact Enhancement Chips, Marks of Time, and Mana Power Elixirs.
Solo Leveling: Arises' Newest SSR Hunter and Bosses
Even more intriguing, the summer update introduced the latest SSR character, Amamiya Mirei, a Wind-wielding Hunter from the Assassin Class. With the Spectral Warrior banner available until August 21, players keen to pull her also have the opportunity to obtain her SSR Exclusive Weapon, Bunny Burbun. Additionally, Woo Jinchul's banner, Faithful Follower, is available during the same period, although he is not a new character.
Similarly, Netmarble has introduced four new challenging bosses for the Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions. In the Instance Dungeon, players will face Almighty Shaman, Kargalgan, and Cursed Giant Eiberg. For the Encore Missions, new monsters include Scorching Lava Stone Guardian and Pursuing Death Stalker. Added to the Special Commissions List, players receive six Instance Dungeon and Encore Mission keys a day.
