Solo Leveling: Arise gives players many different ways of increasing their individual Hunter's power to make them stronger. Drawing and equipping weapons is one of the key ways to give a Hunter better stats, while also changing the way Sung Jinwoo fights.

Players should often aim for better rarity weapons as these naturally have better stats than anything in a lower tier. That being said, any weapon can be upgraded in terms of raw stats and accompanying skills.

How To Level Up & Limit Break Weapons In Solo Leveling: Arise

The Player Limit Breaking A Weapon To Level 40

Hunters and Sung Jinwoo weapons can be leveled up and limit broken. When a weapon is first obtained, it can be leveled up in the weapon menu by selecting the up arrow in the top right of the screen. Players can then choose how many levels to give it using their Weapon Enhancement Gears to a maximum of level 20. Every 20 levels, players will get the option of a Limit Break, which will require Cubes and Designs.

Where To Get Melding Cubes In Solo Leveling: Arise

Melding Cubes of any type are obtained through Dungeon Breaks in Solo Leveling: Arise and traded for at the Weapon Materials Exchange or Mana Crystal Exchange shop. Melding Cube Selection Chests can also be obtained by completing the Battlefield of Trials. A Melding Cube Selection chest lets players pick which element of Melding Cube they want to get, helping players always work towards their current goal.

Where To Get Designs In Solo Leveling: Arise

Designs are another key ingredient to Limit Breaking your weapons and will be needed alongside Melding Cubes to complete a limit break. Limit Breaking R or SR weapons will require Designs, while SSR weapons will require Precision Designs. Both types can be obtained by completing Dungeon Break gates, but only Designs can be traded for in both the Weapon Materials Exchange or Mana Crystal Exchange. Precision Designs are harder to come by and can only be obtained through the Weapon Materials Exchange along with completing much higher level Dungeon Breaks.

How To Get Traces Of Dimensions & Mana Power Infused Casting In Solo Leveling: Arise

Traces of Dimensions are common trading materials used in the Weapon Materials Exchange Shop. Traces Of Dimensions are obtained by salving R-tier weapons in the weapons menu. It doesn't matter what type of weapon it is or if it has been leveled up, every R weapon can be salvaged for 30 Traces Of Dimensions. SR and SSR Weapons can also be salvaged but this will instead give players Mana Power Infused Casting. All weapons are easily obtained by using Draw Tickets in Solo Leveling: Arise, with R weapons being the most common thing Drawn.

Where To Find Weapon Enhancement Gear In Solo Leveling: Arise

There are three types of Weapon Enhancement Gear that all give XP to weapons in varying amounts. Each tier of Weapon Enhancement Gear is obtained by completing gates. Higher-tier Gates offer more Weapon Enhancement Gears while also rewarding the higher-tier options of the Weapon Enhancement Gears. Players can also trade for Weapon Enhancement gear in the Weapon Materials Exchange section of the shop using Traces Of Dimensions salvaged from other weapons. Players can also trade Mana Crystals mined from completed Gates for tier 1 Weapon Enhancement Gear. Weapon Enhancement Gear is also obtained from salvaging old and unused weapons.

Advancement & Upgrading Weapon Skills In Solo Leveling: Arise

All weapons can be Advanced after players receive a copy of a weapon. Select the version of a weapon you wish to Advance and select the up arrow next to Advance along the right side of the screen. This will consume any additional copies of that weapon and increase the weapon's star rating. Advancing a weapon will give it an additional perk while also increasing its Precision.

Only weapons for Sung Jinwoo can have their skills upgraded, as his weapons are the only ones that fully change his play style when equipped. Just like other skills for Sung, these skills are upgraded using [Player] Skill Scrolls. These Skill Scrolls can be obtained through crafting, Red Gates, and exchanged at the Weapon Materials Exchange section of the shop.
