In Solo Leveling: Arise, a last-minute perfect dodge is known as an Extreme Evasion. When performed, Extreme Evasion triggers a brief slow-motion period, allowing the player to quickly retaliate against the enemy. Extreme Evasion also triggers Sung Jinwoo’s exclusive Quick-Time Event (QTE), Shadow Step. When players execute the Shadow Step immediately after an Extreme Evasion, Jinwoo instantly teleports behind the target's back, enabling him to inflict even greater damage.
The distinction between Extreme and Regular Evasion lies in timing. A Regular Evasion describes any dodge that prevents Jinwoo from sustaining damage, even if the enemy's strike partially connects with him. On the other hand, Extreme Evasion signifies Jinwoo flawlessly evading a strike just before it lands, ensuring he remains untouched.
