Equipment recycling in Solo Leveling: Arise is a crafting procedure for repurposing surplus weapons and Artifacts into valuable materials. Yet, most players struggle to decide which items to keep and which to get rid of.
Since keeping duplicate weapons helps with progress, salvaging some of them might slow down future upgrades. However, this guide aims to provide clarity on all aspects of equipment recycling in Solo Leveling: Arise, furnishing tips on identifying the most suitable salvageable items , and more.
Solo Leveling: Arise - How To Get & Use Blessing Stones
Blessing Stones offer powerful passive bonuses for Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling: Arise; here's how to get and use them.
How to Salvage Equipment and Weapons
To recycle equipment, players should head to the Weapons section in the menu and choose "Salvage" from the bottom-left corner. This opens the weapon salvage menu, allowing players to select which weapons to recycle and which to lock to prevent accidental salvage.
Artifacts cannot be recycled; players can only sell duplicate ones for Gold, the primary currency in Solo Leveling: Arise. Each Artifact set has its own selling price, but they're all exchanged for Gold.
What to Salvage First
Players should prioritize salvaging unused R or low-tier SR weapons, but it's strongly recommended not to salvage Advanced high-potential weapons and SSR items under any circumstances. Dismissible R weapons like Sword, Dagger, and Staff are good options for salvaging since they're weak and common.
It's important to remember that Weapon Advancement doesn't impact the salvage yield. So, an A-10 weapon will yield the same salvage materials as its base A-1 duplicate.
To prevent accidentally salvaging a high-level weapon, players can lock their favorite items. They simply need to tap the weapon and choose the "lock" icon from the top-right corner.
What to Do with Salvaged Materials
Players acquire Weapon Enhancement Gear and Mana Power Imbued Casting by salvaging weapons, which they can exchange for useful crafting items at the Shop. To do this, they should navigate to the Weapon Material Exchange section in the Exchange Shop menu.
The best items to buy with weapon salvage materials:
- Hunter Exclusive Weapon Design (This item is required for crafting Hunter’s weapons.)
- Mana Power Crystal Selection Chest (This chest lets the player farm their desired Mana Power Crystal type, which is essential for further weapon upgrades.)
- Skill Scroll 3 (With this scroll, the player can upgrade Jinwoo’s Skills.)
Players have the option to filter salvageable weapons by Power and Rarity, allowing them to discard only the weakest and most common items. They can find this filtering option at the bottom left corner of the screen.
