As the anticipation builds for the Early Access release of Smite 2, players are being given the opportunity to not only test the experience that is to come, but can also flex their skills in a competitive tournament. This true sequel to the popular MOBA Smite promises to be everything the original is and even more.

To coincide with the launch of the second Alpha test for Smite 2, players now have the opportunity to show their prowess in any of the playable gods in the game so far in a tournament that awards a significant cash prize to the winners. For players wanting to know how to enter the Smite 2 Alpha test tournament, this guide will provide all the necessary details.

Smite 2 Alpha Tournament Details

Players who have pre-ordered Smite 2 or registered their interest in the Alpha testing stages of the game's release will also have the opportunity to sign up for the Closed Alpha Tourney, which has a $2,500 cash prize for the winner and $500 for the runner-up. There will be two tournaments open, one in North America and one in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), both of which will commence on June 1, 2024. Here are the times players need to be aware of:

Check-Ins Open	June 1, 2024, at 2pm CEST
Check-Ins Close	June 1, 2024, at 3pm CEST
Tournament Start	3:15pm CEST

North America
Check-Ins Open	June 1, 2024, at 1pm ET
Check-Ins Close	June 1, 2024, at 2pm ET
Tournament Start	2:15pm ET

In addition to the times, players should also be aware that this will be a 5v5 team tournament, with the possibility of two substitutes, and will be single-elimination. The exception to this is the final, which will be a best-of-three match.

How to Enter the Smite 2 Alpha Tournament

Entry into the Smite 2 Alpha weekend tournament is open to any players who have access to the alpha code. In order to get involved, you will need to be a part of the Smite 2 Esports Discord server. To register for the tournament, players will need to follow these steps:smite

Join the Smite 2 Esports Discord server
Go to the #region-assigner channel and assign yourself a region out of North America and EMEA.
This will open another category, either NA or EMEA, which you can then go to the #registration channel and fill in the form.
Click on the Battlefy link in the channel and register your team into the tournament

As this is a team tournament, only the team captain from each squad will need to register. Once registered, all information regarding the tournament will be provided from the Discord server.
