To unlock the crafting recipe for soul stealer arrows, you need to obtain at least one of these arrows. You can obtain the initial arrows in two ways: by completing a quest in the Kagrumez dungeon in Solstheim, and from a vendor in Whiterun named Belethor.
Skyrim: How to Get Soul Stealer Arrows from Kagrumez
To complete the quest in Kagrumez, called the Kagrumez Gauntlet, you’ll have to go through a pretty difficult challenge inside the dungeon itself, after which you’ll notice that another chamber is closed off. Inside that chamber are the soul stealer arrows.
To open that chamber, you’ll have to find four Kagrumez Resonance Gems all over Solstheim. After that, upon returning to the dungeon, the final chamber will be opened, where you can find the 10 soul stealer arrows, after which a crafting recipe for these arrows will be unlocked. If that sounds like too much of a hassle, there is another, much easier way to obtain the arrows and unlock the crafting recipe.
Skyrim: How to Get Soul Stealer Arrows from Belethor
Buying the arrows from Belethor is much simpler than completing the Kagrumez Gauntlet. But there are a few requirements you have to meet to be able to purchase soul stealer arrows from the vendor:
- Your character has to be level 12 and above.
- The Arcane Archers Pack has to be triggered.
Now, there are 2 ways to trigger the pack: the Kagrumez Gauntlet quest and a spell book for telekinesis arrows.
Finding the telekinesis arrow spell book is a much easier way to trigger the Arcane Archers Pack. To do so, make your way to Winterhold. Once you’re there, go to the Winterhold Arcanaeum and look for the telekinesis arrow spell book on Urag’s desk.

Skyrim: Unlimited Soul Stealer Arrow Exploit
Now, to craft 10 soul stealer arrows, you’ll need 1 firewood and 10 soul gem arrowheads, which are crafted from one soul gem fragment. To get the fragments, you need full soul gems. You’ll get 1-2 full soul gems when killing enemies with soul stealer arrows.
But, there is another way to get full soul gems. It’s an exploit using followers. Here’s how to use your followers to obtain unlimited amounts of full soul gems for free:
- Have a follower who can use a bow.
- Give the follower one soul-stealer arrow and make them use that.
- Whenever the follower kills an enemy, a full soul gem will be added to the enemy’s loot, allowing you to collect it.
This is by far the best way to get full soul gems, albeit a somewhat unfair one. You invest one soul stealer arrow and get unlimited full soul gems in return. You can also sell these gems for Gold, which makes this an infinite money glitch.
