You'll be guided to the location shortly after you reach Raven Rock, the capital of Solstheim. The quest will play out as an average dungeon-crawling experience until players are greeted with the word wall. It will be guarded by an ancient Draugr, called "Gate-keeper," and defeating him should not pose a challenge for high-level players.

The Dragonborn must fend off two Seekers before getting near the word wall. Then, Miraak's Dragon, Sahrotaar, flies close to the Dragonborn, leaving them no choice but to defend themselves against the flying beast. Make sure to dodge his frost/fire breath as he lands, since it is powerful enough to eliminate the Dragonborn within a few seconds. Casting the Bend Will shout on Sahrotaar at full power will surely tame him, allowing players to ride him instantly. Unfortunately, Sahrotaar was bound to die at Miraak's hands, as he wanted to absorb his servant's soul as a last resort.
