Fans have been worried about YouTuber Shirley Curry aka Skyrim Grandma when she recently suffered a stroke in her sleep. Now, she has received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Skyrim's developer, Bethesda.

Grandma Shirley Curry has been playing Skyrim on her YouTube channel since she started it back in 2011, uploading uncut videos of her playing the game and sometimes reading from her upcoming book The Listener based on one of her in-game roleplay storylines. Curry revealed to her fans on February 25 that she had suffered a stroke in her sleep after one fan asked about her well-being. She continued to explain that she forgets everything about how to play Skyrim, and she will be receiving therapy to treat the aftermath of the stroke.

In a vlog Curry filmed just after posting another video detailing more information on her stroke, she showed off a beautiful bouquet of flowers she got from Skyrim developer Bethesda. The bouquet has a variety of flowers including some roses, sunflowers, and others arranged in a vase that she shows to the camera. "I'm so proud of them," She says in the video about the Skyrim developer. "And so thrilled that they would do something like this for me."

All the love Curry has been getting is of course wonderful to see and well deserved, especially after she had to take a break from YouTube due to mean comments on her videos. These days, her fans have been sending her a lot of nice comments wishing her good health since the news of her stroke, and she has been trying her best to continue to provide them with content.

The news of her stroke was worrying to fans as she has been a light of positivity in the YouTube gaming scene since she first posted her videos. Bethesda has also repaid her love and resilience by making her an NPC in the newest Elder Scrolls game. Anything nice that she gets out of all the negativity is well deserved for all the good she brings to the world.

While it's valid that she would want to keep making content for her fans, considering all the content she has made for the community, her fans would also not want her to push herself too hard. In the meantime, while she's away from Skyrim, Grandma Shirley can be found in her own mod in the game where she is an NPC that can become a follower.

Skyrim is out now for PC, PS3, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
