The Khajiit are shown throughout Skyrim as not much more than travelling merchants, shifty thieves, and other ne'er do wells. The Khajiit are actually a very proud race outside this province, though perhaps thievery and selling wares are the only way for them to make it in the frozen North of Tamriel – Skyrim really couldn't be more different from Elsweyr, the Khajiit homeland.
Khajiit are one of the most popular choices for players looking to play the Stealth route, though they are perfectly capable of picking up a sword or wielding magic too. It adds a ton of stuff to Skyrim pertaining to Khajiits and Argonians, such as a complete visual overhaul to make these races look more immersive while also letting players go completely bonkers while customizing the look of their Khajiit or Argonian character. It adds a total of four Khajiit followers in the game, all of whom are voiced as well. Hanging out in Skyrim with these Khajiit certainly makes for a great time, and players can switch out companions on the fly if one of these custom companions doesn't gel with them.

5 Moonpath to Elsweyr
Skyrim would be nothing without the incredible talent of its extensive modding community, as evidenced by the numerous expansion-quality addons that have been released over the years. Moonpath to Elsweyr is one such mod, whisking players away to the unforgiving deserts and jungles of the Khajiit homeland.
It's meant to be an adventure taken on after the completion of Skyrim's main quest, and it's certainly not intended for low-level characters. It's the perfect mod for a Khajiit looking to go back home for a while, and thanks to full voice acting and immaculate setting design, it's easy to get lost in Elsweyr – in the metaphorical sense.

4 The Scratching Post Khajiit Tavern
Khajiit tend to be treated as outsiders and second-class citizens throughout the province of Skyrim, and finding one happily drinking inside a tavern is a much harder task than it sounds. Khajiit need a place to feel at home in Skyrim, safe from the frozen air and howling winds, and there's no better stop than The Scratching Post.
Located just outside Riften, The Scratching Post also serves as a safe haven for Elves from the harsh abuse from particularly, uh, passionate Nords. It looks much the same as other taverns throughout the game, with many more Khajiit than one might usually expect, and there's even a small plot involving a guarded chest to uncover.

3 Khajiit Amazing Race Tweaks
Amazing Race Tweaks, as a collection of mods, seeks to make each of the playable races much more immersive through fundamental changes to their stats and racial benefits. The Khajiit version of the mod aims to make the beast race "more like cats" by giving them six times jump height, much better stealth, including totally silent steps, and even a racial power to turn themselves invisible.
Additionally, the Amazing Race Tweaks mod gives Khajiit a 15% improvement to Bartering, and fixes an issue where Khajiit aren't able to become Vampires and keep all of their racial benefits. Khajiit are given boosts to Light Armor, Speech, Illusion, and One-Handed, as well as huge boosts to Pickpocket and Sneaking.

2 Your Market Stall
Khajiit are most commonly associated with wandering traders in Skyrim, and while it's fun to break away from the mold, setting up shop and selling wares is more satisfying than one might think. With certain other mods installed, a Khajiit can really make a name for themselves in Bartering, and the Your Market Stall mod gives players the ability to do this without a middleman.
With this mod installed, players simply need to choose a spot, set up shop, and wait for wandering NPCs to come up and buy something on display. It's the perfect way to roleplay the typical Skyrim-based Khajiit merchant, and it's surprisingly lucrative even without additional benefits to bartering.

1 Sense of smell
Khajiit would be nothing if not for their senses. They are silent when moving thanks to their soft paws, they have an innate sense of business as evidenced in their trade and speech skills, and theoretically, they have an unmatched sense of smell amongst the conscious races of Tamriel. Unfortunately, this is never shown in the base version of Skyrim.
The Sense of Smell mod aims to rectify that by giving Khajiit access to a unique ability to "smell" all NPCs in a certain vicinity. With this ability enabled, Khajiit players will see a cloud of pheromones surrounding life forms around them, including automatons and the like, giving them a sneaky advantage from an unseen location far away.
