Players looking to snag ship upgrades and build certain items in Skull and Bones will eventually need to get their hands on some Copper. This resource is rather rare, especially in the early game, but it's required to make Bronze Ingots, which can be refined from Copper Ore. There are only two nodes to harvest Copper from near Sainte-Anne, the starting port for the game (once players exit the main tutorial). The nodes themselves are a small jaunt from the main port, but once players know how to access the node information in the Codex it's a lot easier to find where the harvesting spots are located.

Copper and Bronze can be an important item in creating certain ships, weapons, or other items, so players will want to know where and how to harvest the resource as soon as possible. Here's a look at where to get Copper in Skull and Bones.

Unfortunately, unlike Bog Iron, there are only a couple of nodes for Copper to be found in the earliest parts of the game. To get to them, players need to head to an area to the west of Sainte-Anne, south of a small outpost called Sacred Tree. Once players have access to the Codex (which can be found on the map screen at the top, under the Knowledge Tab), they can actually track the Copper Nodes themselves to see exactly where they are. To do so, players should head into the Knowledge Tab and select Raw Materials, then navigate to Copper under the Raw Metal sub-section. Once tracked, players will be able to see the two nodes clearly on marked on the map.

Players need to understand that just because the node is visible on the map, it does not guarantee that the Copper will be available for harvest. Once another player has harvested the node, it will take some time before it respawns. If players are having trouble collecting the Copper, they can try exiting to the Main Menu and then heading back into the game in an attempt to get placed into a new World Instance that may have the Copper available.

To snag the Copper itself, players will need to have at least a Level One Pickaxe. This item can be built via the Carpenter at Sainte-Anne and players will actually receive a whole bevy of tools from the NPC by simply following the Main Story Quest. Once players have the Pickaxe unlocked, they will just need to sail up toward a Copper Deposit and hit the Harvest button when close enough. Doing so will begin a mini-game where players need to try to stop a small line within the confines of a green area. Stopping the line in the green area will reward players with the most resources possible, while stopping in the yellow will reward players will fewer resources overall from the node.
