- PS Plus Premium now includes Siren with a new trophy list, alongside other horror-themed games.
Classic PlayStation 2 horror game Siren has finally come to modern consoles, and it's done so with a revamped trophy list. Made by Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama, the original Siren was released for the PS2 in Japan in 2003 before making its way elsewhere the following year. A blend of stealth and survival-horror gameplay, Siren received mixed reviews at the time of its release, but is remembered today as one of the more unique horror games to ever grace the PS2.
Siren features zombie-like creatures that players have to avoid as they progress through the game, but the twist is that players can actually see through the eyes of their enemies through the "sightjacking" feature. Those checking out Siren for the first time now that it's been added to PS Plus Premium will be able to put this unique feature to the test as they tackle the game's challenging missions and its trophy list.
Siren was previously re-released for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 version of Siren added trophy support, but at the time, the game lacked a Platinum trophy for players to unlock. That oversight has been rectified with the new version of Siren that's now available through PS Plus Premium. Those playing through Siren now will have many more trophies to unlock than those that played the game when it was released for PS4.

Siren is just one of the new games added to PS Plus Premium in October 2024. With October 2024 being the spooky season, it should come as no surprise that multiple new PS Plus games have been horror-themed.
In fact, Dino Crisis was added to PS Plus Premium alongside Siren. But while Siren features a brand-new trophy list for fans to tackle, Dino Crisis is missing trophies. Fans have expressed their disappointment at the lack of trophies in Dino Crisis, but it's possible that trophy support will be added in the future.

Resist the Call
0:00. Midnight. A siren calls and a sea of red water mysteriously surrounds the mountain village Hanuda. Slowly, a terrible force transforms the inhabitants into shibito, undead husks of their old selves, fueled by evil and hate.
Play as one of ten characters caught in a living nightmare. You have three days to learn how their paths intersect as they try to stay alive. Survival depends on your ability to “sightjack” or the power to see through the eyes of friends and foes. There is no one hero. There is little hope.
Will you resist the call of the Siren?
