Just like humans, Sims in The Sims 4 have wants and needs. It can be quite a handful to juggle several Sims at a time, especially when players wish to complete challenges and tell stories. Thankfully, there is one easy way to gain more control over Sims' lives by downloading the UI Cheats Extension Mod by the creator Weerbesu.

This mod is one of the most popular additions to The Sims 4 and is completely free to download. It allows players to manipulate the user interface (UI) and use cheats with the click of a button as opposed to having to manually type out commands. Download this mod to immediately solve needs, remove unwanted traits or quirks, and promote Sims with ease so that players can focus on the gameplay they desire. While this mod offers many in-game perks, these are the best ones that come with the UI Cheats Extension mod.

12 Clickable Needs Levels

The aspect of this mod that attracts players is the promise of clickable needs levels. If a Sim didn't get enough sleep or didn't have enough time to grab a bite to eat, players can left-click on the needs bar to turn low (red) levels into high (green) levels. Right-click on the needs bar to manually set needs values from -100 to 100. Need a hard reset? Right-click on the icon that opens the needs panel to instantly fill all the needs of the selected Sim.

Players can also edit needs and several other aspects of occult life. For vampires, werewolves, and spellcasters, right-click the XP progress bar to select rankings or right-click on the power/talent point counter to set its levels. Remove werewolf temperaments or spellcaster curses by right-clicking on them.

11 Remove Moodlets, Wants, & Fears

For some Sims, one negative moodlet could mean imminent death. Stacked playful, embarrassed, or angry moodlets can cause emotion-based deaths, which makes having this mod come in handy. Right-click on any moodlet to remove it.

Upon the release of the High School Years expansion pack, The Sims 4 launched the wants and fears system, a feature that was dearly missed from The Sims 2. Wants - unlike the previous "whim" system - are more personalized to Sims based on their likes and dislikes, traits, aspirations, moods, skills, and needs. Fears happen randomly based on situations that players put their Sims in. Normally, players have to spend time building their Sim's confidence and talking to other Sims to conquer fears. With UI Cheats Extension, right-click wants and fears to quickly complete it or re-roll it.

10 Adjustable Skill Levels

When players first create a Sim, they start without any skills built up. That seems unrealistic, despite all attempts The Sims 4 makes to add realism to the game. Some people enjoy the challenge that comes with skill building, but it is not an aspect that most players enjoy focusing on.

Players have to spend many hours of their precious time to reach high skill levels and unlock new abilities. To raise or lower skill levels in a matter of seconds, right-click on the skill bar and select the desired level.

9 Edit Simology Panels

The Simology panel is the interface in the bottom right corner of the screen that shows a Sim's aspirations, career status, skills, relationships, inventory, simology (which shows traits, milestones, likes and dislikes, and public image), needs, social groups, and owned businesses. There are several cheats for this panel, considering the amount of information it stores.

With UI Cheats Extension, players can add or subtract the number of days in the current age stage. Add or remove traits, lifestyles, university degrees, and quirks with a right-click on each green category title. Unlock milestones or remove them with the click of a button. For young Sims, players can adjust character values from -100 to 100. For players with the Get Famous expansion pack, right-click the fame and reputation meter to select a rank or click on the fame point counter to set it. There are also cheats for other packs like Journey to Batuu or Eco-Lifestyle. Set Batuu faction reputation ranks or open voting panels for the neighborhood.

8 Modify Relationships

When infants were added to the game, the game developers made it a bit more difficult to raise friendship and romance levels. Players have to put in more work for their Sims to make friends and lovers. Thankfully, this mod makes modifying relationship values easy.

Gain more control over a Sim's social and romantic life by right-clicking on the friendship bar and entering values. Not only is this method more time efficient, but it also allows players to experiment with different social dynamics, complex relationships, and even rivalries.

7 School & Career Cheats

There are several cheats that ambitious players can use to enhance their Sim's school and career experience. For children and teenagers, right-click on the school bus icon in the simology panel to promote or demote Sims' grade levels. High schoolers can easily pass their exams if players help them complete their homework by right-clicking the homework task. For Sims in university, right-click the course icon to change grade values, click the degree icon to change GPAs, and click on suspensions and probations to remove them.

Similarly to school cheats, players can promote, demote, and change career branches by clicking the job icon. Easily complete promotion tasks, daily tasks, prep tasks, and work-from-home assignments by right-clicking them. Want to increase the odds of a promotion or demotion? Click on the performance bar to set its values.

6 Auto-Complete Aspirations

Many legacy challenges encourage Sims players to complete aspirations over the course of a generation. Some aspirations are more difficult to complete than others and glitches frequently occur that undo the progress made on aspiration tasks. Not many players have time to play musical instruments for 75 hours or throw 15 parties, especially on a short lifespan.

Whether players have attempted to complete aspirations or they could not be bothered, aspiration goals can be fulfilled by right-clicking on them. Allowing Sims to achieve aspirations quickly gives players more time to spend exploring new content.

5 Auto-Complete Events & Holidays

Some events in The Sims 4 can get a little out of hand. The UI Cheats Extension Mod can hand control back to players of the game. For raging parties, passionate restaurant dates, and active career days, easily complete those difficult and pesky event goals simply by clicking on them.

With the Seasons expansion pack, players can celebrate Winterfest and Bunny Day or create their own custom holidays. These holidays come with traditions like water fun and mischief spirit. When these traditions are not completed before the day is over, Sims will become sad about an unsuccessful holiday. To remove all the pressure to make Sims happy on these special days, right-click each tradition icon to complete them.

4 Spawn Collectibles To The Inventory

There are 36 collections in The Sims 4, including those in the base game, and also across several game packs. Breed or find all 25 types of frogs, dig up 24 different kinds of crystals, and search high and wide for the 20 MySim trophies in the game.

There's nothing more frustrating than trying to complete a collection and having one item left. To gain the satisfaction of a finished collection, first open household collections and right-click the missing collectible to add it to the Sim's inventory.

3 Control The In-Game Clock

A close-up look on how to set game times with UI Cheats Extensions

UI Cheats Extension also does one thing that no other mod has done before. Right-click on the time at the bottom of the screen to change the time in the game.

Players who cannot bear the anticipation and excitement of an upcoming bachelor or bachelorette party or event can skip right up to the nearest hour that it occurs by typing in a value from 0 to 23 (with the number 17 being 5 PM, for example). They may not, however, turn clocks backward and undo events that have already occurred in the game.
