A Sims 4 player online has recreated Twilight in Maxis' life simulator game, showing off some of the most iconic scenes from the popular movie series. The Sims 4 encourages players to embrace their creativity, and it's interesting to see how this sometimes manifests itself.
Because The Sims 4 allows players to create any Sim they can imagine, and put them in any environment they can create, this can often result in some fabulous creations. Some players choose to recreate people and areas from their real lives, dreaming up an alternate reality to live vicariously through. However, it often also results in many gamers bringing their other favorite franchises into The Sims 4, as it allows them to define the narrative for these characters. Just recently, a Sims 4 player recreated Charmed characters in the game, using custom content to make realistic versions of each.

Redditor Kooky_Yam2626 shared their cool Sims 4 creation, which brings several iconic scenes from Twilight to life. First is the baseball scene, which appears in the original movie. Then, there's a recreation of the scene where Bella and Edward climb a tree. There's even an overwhelming blue filter over each scene, which really defined the look and feel of the first Twilight movie. The Sims created to represent Bella and Edward actually look a lot like the protagonists of Twilight, and Kooky_Yam2626 has done a great job bringing them to life. It isn't clear whether any Sims 4 CAS mods were used to create Bella and Edward, although they do look like base game creations.
Twilight Recreated in The Sims 4
Gamers in the thread were quick to heap praise on the recreation of Twilight, while one user pointed out that The Sims 3: Supernatural pack features a world eerily similar to the town seen in the movie. That said, it's cool to see some of the town recreated in the most recent game too, and hopefully Kooky_Yam2626 would be willing to share more if they completed more of the wider world.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Sims franchise. Earlier this year, rumors circulated that Project Rene had been canceled, which is presumed to be the next major title in the series. Nothing is confirmed at the moment though, so take that as the rumor that it is. A decade after The Sims 4's release, it is still releasing new expansions, the most recent of which is the Lovestruck pack. Maxis is clearly not done with that game despite its age, so expect more Sims 4 packs for some time to come yet.
