The Sims 4 has announced a brand-new pair of Creator Kits that will be arriving for purchase on August 21, 2025. This latest round of Creator Kits for The Sims 4 will provide both some new makeup options and furnishings and decorations for one of the most overlooked parts of Sims' homes.
Smaller, bargain-priced alternatives to full expansions and Game and Stuff packs, Creator Kits were first introduced to the life simulator in November 2024, and they tend to offer a small selection of furniture items, decorations, or Create-a-Sim parts centered around a specific theme. The first set of Sims 4 Creator Kits was built around the concepts of teenage slumber parties and colorful, mid-20th-century kitsch. More than 40 other kits have followed since then, offering players a variety of ways to make their Sims 4 experience unique.

2 New Sims 4 Creator Packs are Coming on August 21

As announced on the game's official Twitter page, the next two Creator Kits in the queue are Peacemaker's Grange Mudroom and Crypticism's Essential Glam. Not everything has been revealed about the contents of these kits just yet, but Grange Mudroom is centered around furniture and decorations for the entryways to houses in The Sims 4, while Essential Glam promises to provide "polished makeup looks."
Preview images for Grange Mudroom show off a variety of new items coming to the game. These include some purely decorative features, like large sets of cabinets and shelving units, wall-mounted coat racks adorned with hats and scarves, a pair of rain boots, and a decorative laundry bin. There is also at least one interactive piece of furniture, as one preview image shows Eliza Pancakes sitting on a new entryway bench. The preview images for the Essential Glam kit only show a few different Create-a-Sim makeup looks, but it clearly packs in plenty of variety, from deep, glossy lipsticks to vibrant, brightly colored eyeshadows. Official pricing has not been revealed for either kit, but based on similar offerings from The Sims 4, they will likely be available for $4.99 apiece.
With the release of the Enchanted by Nature expansion on July 10, Sims 4 fans will likely have to wait a while before another full expansion is revealed. Still, there's hope for more free content on the way, as a recent Sims 4 survey hints at updates that could potentially be coming to the base game. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the questionnaire could indicate that players might be getting access to some multicultural items, recipes, and customization options to increase the game's inclusiveness.
