A talented Sims 4 player online has built an incredibly cozy cottage in-game without using mods, which would be perfect for a small family out in the woods. This Sims 4 build does a great job of keeping a consistent color scheme to create seriously cozy vibes.

Over a decade after its initial release, The Sims 4 remains one of the best games on the market for players who like to build structures and bring their wild ideas to life. It's always fun to see what the game's community is coming up with. Some players like to go big and try to create the most grandiose build possible, while some even recreate locations from other franchises in The Sims 4, too. A short while ago, another Sims 4 player even built GTA's Grove Street in the game, showing the versatility of what can be created by creative fans.

Redditor Gametastisch shared their awesome cozy cottage, which, incredibly, has been built without the use of any Sims 4 mods. The build makes great use of older-style furniture to create a vintage feel, while a consistent autumnal color palette creates epic cozy vibes. It sprinkles in a few modern items here and there, such as a television, which makes it feel like a family really could live here. Frankly, the interior looks amazing, with Gametastisch even putting a few items out of place to make it feel realistically lived in.

While the interior looks great, the exterior matches up to the high bar set inside. It looks like something out of a movie, with flowers growing at the side of the house to create a small slice of woodland paradise. The unique shape of the house looks like it would have been extremely difficult to create, which makes it all the more amazing that Gametastich was able to bring it to life without using any Sims 4 mods that make building easier. Players can try this cozy home for themselves by visiting the gallery of EA ID ParadiseBeach90.

With The Sims 4 now over 10 years old, it's somewhat surprising that Maxis has yet to release a sequel at this point. The studio continues to release new expansions for the game, making it the most complete Sims experience to date. Last month, EA shocked gamers by confirming that The Sims 5 isn't in the works at the moment, with plans instead in place to continue supporting the 2014 title. Some believed that Project Rene would prove to be The Sims 5, but evidently, this isn't the case. While it's sad a new mainline title isn't coming any time soon, it's good news for players who are still getting a lot out of The Sims 4's building features.
