The 2023 Barbie movie was a huge hit worldwide and became a pop culture phenomenon for its themes and creative take on the iconic world of Barbie. There were plenty of Barbies in the movie, but protagonist Barbie was played by Australian actress Margot Robbie. Robbie's version of Barbie is what has been recreated here by Simmer GweniSimsie.
Not only does this Sim look just like Robbie facially, but the outfit she is wearing is perfect and resembles a similar one that Robbie wore in the film, complete with pink beret and pale pink outfit. The little touches here are also excellently chosen, such as the pink ice cream cone earrings and the pale pink nail polish. The only problem with this Sim is that, if players want to download her in full, they are going to need a lot of additional content, including expansions, game packs, stuff packs, and even kits. It’s a pricey commitment, but for Simmers who already own everything that’s needed, Margot Robbie’s Barbie is sure to be a fun addition to the game.

One of the most famous television shows in the world, Friends has got a loyal base of fans, including fans from the world of The Sims. Created by simona93, this household features all six members of the main Friends cast: Ross (David Schwimmer), Chandler (played by the late Matthew Perry), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courtney Cox), and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow).
All six actors have been recreated excellently here, so much so that they are instantly recognizable. A popular family that has been around since the 1930s, The Addams Family has appeared in a range of films and television shows and has been portrayed by many different actors and actresses over the years. Next up is a family that’s a little different but equally awesome and brilliantly made. Bluey is one of the most popular kid’s shows in the world, thanks to tackling a range of topics that can be appreciated by kids and adults while still maintaining its cute, kid-friendly image. The main characters of Bluey are the Heelers, a family of cartoon dogs based on the Australian cattle dog breed. The family consists of dad Bandit, mum Chili, and their two daughters, Bluey - who the show is named after - and Bingo. The Sim recreation of the family includes two adult dogs and two adorable puppies, making for a great addition to a Sim’s household as pets.
In the show, the dogs are colored more brightly than the breeds are in real life to add to the cartoonish vibe, and Simmer XanthippeSnow has perfectly recreated their bright color palette. They have also got the little details perfected, too, such as Bandit and Bluey having a darker coat color on their heads that gets lighter on their bodies and Chili and Bingo having light spots on their coats.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was played by Alec Guiness in the original Star Wars movies, but it’s Ewan McGregor’s take on the character from the prequel movies and the Disney Plus prequel show that has had the most screen time. It’s rare to find a film as iconic as The Wizard of Oz. The movie has become a staple of classic cinema and a beloved watch for generations of families. It has also spawned various spin-offs and even a hugely successful musical. It’s no surprise, then, that protagonist Dorothy Gale is one of cinema’s most iconic characters.
The late, great Judy Garland played Dorothy, and her famous appearance from the movie has been recreated excellently by Simmer gatorhum. As well as Garland’s features being well-made, Dorothy’s classic design is also perfect, such as her gingham blue and white dress, hair braids, and iconic red, sparkly slippers. This Sim also includes Dorothy’s trusty Yorkshire Terrier companion, Toto, making for an adorable and accurate recreation of cinema’s most famous girl and dog double act.

Thor was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s heyday, and he’s still a part of the world now. He’s one of the most iconic Marvel heroes, with Chris Hemsworth’s take on the character appearing in the movies since his debut solo film in 2011. There are a few different versions of Hemsworth's Thor in the gallery, but this version by Bexy17 is particularly impressive.
Hemsworth’s face has been made excellently, with his features recreated with fine detail from his light stubble to his piercing blue eyes. The shaggy blonde hair is also well-chosen and a staple of Thor’s character, making the Sim feel particularly close to the hero himself. This pick goes to the Jon Snow and Sansa Stark recreated by Simmer SirSIM. SirSIM has made several Game of Thrones Sims, but Jon and Sansa stand out as incredibly accurate recreations of the actors while being undeniably true to their respective characters.
These Sims are fantastic recreations of Kit Harrington (Jon) and Sophie Turner (Sansa) and their characters. The facial features are perfect, as are the hair choices. Even their outfits are perfect. Game of Thrones fans are sure to love these recreations, but those looking for some well-made, historical-style Sims will enjoy them, too.

Jinx’s Arcane design translates into Sim form fantastically, with her blue hair, steampunk-like purple and gray outfit, and even her pink, blue, and purple nails being huge standouts. The Sim recreates the art style from Arcane well, too, with Jinx having a cartoony look that is still grounded in reality. Pair this Jinx Sim with a Vi Sim, and players could act out the happy ending for the sisters that they probably won’t be getting in Arcane's second season.

The ogre, the myth, and the legend that is Shrek takes the top spot for iconic movie and television characters recreated in The Sims 4. Shrek is a character who made his debut in the 2001 Shrek film, and he would go on to remain a staple of pop culture for years to come. As well as various spin-offs, sequels, and video games, Shrek was an icon in his own right, too. It wasn't until the rise of the Internet that Shrek became even more legendary, becoming the center of various memes and odd YouTube videos.
This Shrek Sim was created by fishysimmer, and it depicts Shrek as perfectly as is possible to do in Create a Sim. Along with his green skin, round, bald head, and big, green ears, this Shrek also has an outfit that is almost identical to the one that he wears in the movies. This Shrek would be a brilliant addition to any Simmers game. After all, Shrek is love, Shrek is life.
