Hit singer Chappell Roan shared in detail her The Sims 2 playstyle. Released back in 2004, The Sims 2 introduced many features that fans still enjoy in the franchise's latest titles, like WooHoo and being able to create Alien families.
The very first The Sims game revolutionized the way people experienced life simulation games, but its sequel, The Sims 2, took a big step in adding more realism. For the first time, avid players were able to build family trees by raising Sims from infancy to elderly, giving their Sims aspirations, and overall customizing the way they play through fun interactions.
One avid The Sims 2 player is apparently Chappell Roan, the chart-topping pop singer known for her hit songs "Good Luck, Babe" and "Hot To Go." TikTok user allthingschappell shared a video of a Q&A where Roan talked about her interesting The Sims 2: Double Deluxe playstyle, which included making all her adult Sims WooHoo and getting them pregnant, having twin baby aliens, and making Sims cheat on their partners. She also memorized the cheat codes and tried to find one that made her Sims naked.
Chappell Roan's Preferred Way of Playing The Sims 2
- Make Sims WooHoo and get pregnant
- Have twin baby aliens
- Make Sims cheat on their partners
- Memorize The Sims cheat codes, and attempt to find one that makes Sims naked
Roan's The Sims 2 experience is relatable to many longtime fans of the franchise, as they explored different facets of romance through their virtual households and used cheat codes to make their gameplay easier and sometimes more chaotic. On a more serious note, Roan also said that she was really invested in The Sims 2 because she feels like a Sim herself, who can dress up in cool outfits and explore different worlds.
The singer, whose real name is Kayleigh Amstutz, previously explained that Chappell Roan is her drag persona while performing. She has emphasized on multiple occasions that creating a separation between her personal and professional lives is beneficial to her mental health, and has reminded many fans to respect her boundaries, especially when she's out in public.
Meanwhile, Roan's jaw-dropping outfits have inspired many fans to recreate them in games. One Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan recreated the singer's glittery pink look, complete with a mini-stage in their home; while another recreated her lucha libre outfit in WWE 2K24. With Roan expressing her love for The Sims, perhaps Maxis and EA could collaborate with her to create a special expansion pack inspired by her most iconic outfits, though this is purely wishful thinking.
